Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

Dance emotes

Before I played CoX I was a long-time Guild Wars player. One of the things that I always found fascinating in GW was the phenomena of massive group dances. Since each class had a dance "routine" they could do and you could use a / command to sync them to the next tick, you could get huge groups doing dances together in perfect unison.

It was something I missed in CoX. Not the idea of dances per class, but dance routines.

I'd like to request that in addition to the various simple dance emotes we are used to in CoX that we also have a few extended sequences that could be synced. Maybe some line dancing (Electric Slide anyone?) or some Tai Chi

Actually, that would be a cool thing to see NPCs doing. A group of them in a park doing Tai Chi. Or some B-boys dancing on the sidewalk.

I loved all the dances in GW, it was a fun, simple social mechanic.

Till this day i think SWG had thee most dances of any game mainly because they have an actual Dance Class and not just dance emotes. I would love to see lots of dancing emotes and singing and instrument emotes. But good ones though. The dance emotes in CO and TSW are rather bleh. -.- The ones in WoW are better cept they are class specific. Maybe even in some Co-op dance stuff. Like in MxO you had some interactive emotes that you would preform while targeting a player and they had to accept and then the two toons would preform the emote together. Was fun. Till it got weird with all the people running around using the kiss emote. ^^;;;;

Being able to sync up dances

Being able to sync up dances would be nice as well... Tis a feature that Guild Wars/Guild Wars 2 has.

2) Not to be used when upset... will void warranty
3) Stoke me a clipper i will be back for dinner
4) I have seen more intelligence from an NPC AI in TR beta, than from most MMO players.

Ok...I like emotes, even

Ok...I like emotes, even dance emotes, as well as the next guy. However I think that one of the things I often railed about in CoX was the plethora of emotes while other parts of the game were not working correctly.

Fly emotes were cool. The various interaction emotes were great for RP. However you seemed to have a new emote every release while some MAJOR things were still broken.

The first time I find out that one of the art people is spending his time making his own version of the Thriller video when he could be working on just about ANYTHING else, I'm gonna get a bit salty.

Make sure the game WORKS first before putting the doilies on it please...

I'd like to add something

I'd like to add something about dance and interaction emotes, as well, and hopefully, the devs will see it. I like that the animations for the characters in CoX were just that. No added text that automatically comes with it. Please, whatever you do, don't tie text to the emote, just let it be a visual.

Why? Because 50 people dancing, and each one is an automated line of text, gets spammy and laggy. To see this in action, make a F2P account on LoTRo, make a character on Landroval server, go to Bree and look for a concert.

I don't get that. You're talking bout major bugs in the game - is your expectation that the head *animator* wakes up one day and says "Hmm... should I make an emote or solve several major bugs in the game during the same time period?"

I would imagine that would be a separate person working on the bugs than emotes.

True Ambi...but some of the bugs were in the animations as well. I'll admit that I don't know jack about programming. That being said, with the current state of TPP Dev team I expect that everyone will be wearing multiple hats for a while.

SWG also had contextual emotes. If you walked up and said "Hi" to someone, your toon would automatically wave. If you said anything that indicated you were happy or sad, your face would reflect it. It did create some hilarity if you had a lot to say and your toon would be doing all kinds of crazy stuff trying to emote it but added loads to the immersion

"I don't think you understand the gravity of your situation."
