using a staff either for melee or as a firing point for ranged attacks.
NOTE this must be brief, a single paragraph or two...NOT A BOOK
must have a name and detail how the staff is used: melee or ranged (detail energy type)
pictures are fine, but not required.
this is to be a quick challenge. Go for it. test your creativity.

[b]Blue Deville[/b]
Connie was an archeologist working a site in Europe, when she stumbled across a temple to Mars, the god of war. It was looted long ago but a secret door held a marvelous artifact, the Staff of War. At first she could only summon Zeppelins that would float overhead and do nothing, but later she learned she could summon every weapon ever created by man. From the staff she could fire heavy machine guns, fire shells from a tank, or a heavy battleship. But to use the staff she also transformed into a horned monster. The monster aspect didn't bother her as she would blend right in with all the other meta-humans tossing about in the 21st century. In fact her hero aspect was adopted as a university mascot: The Blue Devils...go team go! Blue Deville even worked a few modeling gigs.
and thus another hero was born.
Blue Deville is a Gunner: ranged primary, defense secondary, and will not be available at launch
Her summoned Zeppelins still do nothing..she never did figure out how to use them.

Kim Strugart
Kim was an exotic dancer at The Bottoms Up... the worst of the worst clubs in Titan. She hated her job. She was just an object and was treated poorly. Kim hated what she was doing but, her mother was sick and needed expensive medication. She hated everyone involved, management, bouncers, but it was the customers she hated most. The things they would say and do while she was on stage...
One Friday the crowd was being extra nasty. So Kim did what she always did, just focus and dance harder. Her only thoughts were "mom needs her meds". As her set went on, the crowd just kept getting worse and worse. So Kim focused harder and harder. She came up to the stripper pole and whipped around it so fast that it snapped in half. She fell awkwardly to the stage, and bashed her head on the floor. She awoke seconds later, but no one was helping her. To her horror, all she could hear was laughter... loud, cruel laughter.
"Why are you laughing" she mumbled as she tried to get up. The laughing continued. "WHY are you laughing" she asked again, as she finally got to her feet. They only laughed louder, even the few women who were there too. Kim looked down at the broken stripper pole, and she lost it. She picked up one half of the pole and screamed "WHY ARE YOU LAUGHING?" The Exotic Thrasher was born. She killed anything that moved.
Needless to say she's not a hero, and that crack to her head definitely knocked something loose. She does however, still gets her mother the medicine she needs, by any means necessary.
Metal staff, powered by rage.
Lifeless object alive.
The Mayor
In the 1970's a psi ops training ground was built beneath Titan city, something went horribly wrong when... something... happened, something that the people running the operation couldn't quite understand, followed by the trainees become more violent and crazed. The operation was considered a failure, and the trainees where left locked deep underground. They where all thought to be dead but in recent years there could be seen, mad men and women with minor psionic abilities, calling themselves "The Town" who dressed themselves up like the cast of the rocky horror picture show in a mad maxian apocalypse, lead by a man calling himself "The Mayor" wielding a psionically charged staff and telekinetic abilities. It is unknown if these two events are related, but it's highly likely that they are.

Megan the Twin
Megan was a small child, growing at half the speed of other children in his classes. In fact, she was smarter than those around her because she didn't start kindergarten until she was ten years because her mom couldn't convince the school teachers that she was old enough to go to school. An avid studier of human behavior, she pretended to be a bit slow so she could go to the same grade twice rather than only once. When she reached puberty at seven years old (she was really 14), she started to evidence an unusual ability. Her baton twirling skill morphed strangely such that if her baton touched someone, she morphed into an exact duplicate of the person she struck. For a while, her attendance in school dropped dramatically because the teachers didn't realize she had touched someone with her baton on the way into class, and realizing she looked like someone else, she played hooky in their guise. After a time, she got some control over the ability and was able to stop her appearance change rather than just looking like someone else for eight hours. But she still did it because she thought it was fun. By the time she looked like a teen-ager, she was already in her mid-twenties, she taught herself how to be a private eye, and used her skills to follow suspects, though the (slightly dim-witted) truant officer still found her and sent her back to elementary school when she looked like herself.
