Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.
It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.
To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

Love Shotgun Shuffle! Which, as a patreon for it, makes sense :)

Locking a thread would require the thread to have become ABOUT a problematic post, not simply contain one. That said, Brand X, a post like that is very abrasive and basically throws down a gauntlet for every pro-SJW in range, whatever you may have intended. Please restrain yourself next time. I have deleted the post to prevent any further responses to it.

I really appreciate this new level of professionalism you all at MWM have taken towards the forums here. A good direction for a game that will likely have a very active, and sometimes controversial, forum community.
It’s a crime fighting duo, “Star and Bar”. Star is a patriotic-themed hero with super speed and light manipulation, and Bar is a reformed street thug with super strength and near-invulnerability. (The back of the big guy’s jacket could say “BAR”...)
They had a disagreement about whether the duo should be “Star and Bar” or “Bar and Star”. The disagreement got heated, and Star showed Bar that he’s not fully invulnerable, especially below the belt.
Did I mention that the duo is named Star and Bar? ;)
Well bear in mind PR is very, very undermanned. Volunteers desperately needed to properly moderate, as well as take care of many other related duties. In the meantime, posts in a thread won't help us find the thread. A PM to me will (using the Contact Us form also helps. Make sure to include links whichever method you use)

Here we see Captain All-Star posing for his fans after once again defeating his nemesis, Freight Train. Nobody knows who Captain All-Star is, but internet rumors suggest he was a wide receiver for the North Titan City Cheetahs before becoming a speedster. This rumor persists partially due to Freight Train being a known alias of Bruno Machowski, a former linebacker for the South Titan City Midgets before he turned to a life of crime. Machowski was banned from the NFL for life after it became clear that his permanent crippling of many of the players he tackled was proven to be intentional.
With all due respect to Shadow Elusive it did take roughly 32 DAYS for someone to decide to take action here so I actually would NOT really bother to praise this as a "good example" of professionalism as far a forum oversight goes. In fact this might be the first example I've ever seen of a Redname necro'ing a thread for the sole purpose of deleting a questionable post. Just saying this thread was well on its way to obscurity - why was there a pressing need to do anything about this particular incident now?
For what it's worth I have no objection to having the posts in question removed. I myself had a related post (that was also deleted) which questioned the appropriateness of the "questionable" post. I'm simply pointing out the incredibly poor reaction time involved.

“Stay on topic, stay on topic!”
“Red five, You’ve turned off your targeting computer, is something wrong?”
“No, everything’s fine, I’ve got this!”
“Muse the force, Lou”
Well, to be fair, I didn't know the post was going to make someone whine, cry and act like a baby over it. It was humorous, and truthfully, now I'm wondering, do we just call out all things we don't find funny to get it deleted? :p
To be brutally honest if the Rednames had deleted this post of yours say within a day or two I might have almost considered it, well, I'll use the word "legitimate". But the fact that it took them a full month to take any action against it (and they literally had to necro the thread in order to do it) just has me wondering what the priorities here are. The thread was dead - the only reason I'm even typing in it now was that Shadow Elusive "refocused" our attention on it again.
I get that there has to be -some- kind of forum moderation on this site and I'm totally sympathetic to the idea that MWM likely does not have a designated full time (or even part time) person to serve in that capacity. But this is not just a case "closing the barn door after the cow's gotten loose" but it's so far after the fact that it's more like "closing the barn door only after the cow's gotten loose, after the cow's been chased down, after it's been sent to the slaughter house, after it's been turned into hamburgers and become a fond memory of a Sunday cookout we had weeks ago". Applying this kind of "justice" so far past the crime was practically laughable in this scenario.

It used to be the Shadow and the Minotaur that kept watch, here. Any time I saw something Particularly hinky, I'd PM them with a link. But mere abrasive behavior wasn't what I'd object to.
Be Well!

For what it's worth I don't seriously care if people have the perverse holier-than-thou desire to "narc" to the Renames (via PM) about any thread/post that bothers them here on this forum. To me it's basically the forum version of players reporting griefers to a GM in an active gaming environment.
But in this particular case given the details involved and time since the thread had become effectively inactive were I Shadow Elusive I would've quite likely let sleeping dogs lie. Had this thread ever in the future gotten necro'd by someone else and people started bickering over the post in question then AT THAT POINT a Redname could have bothered to act while the proverbial iron was hot.

For whatever reason, it was yesterday someone chose to make very public objections to this thread on Twitter, including some very nasty accusations. Addressing the issue, however late, resulted in those tweets being deleted.
The world is bigger than these forums. Try to remember you don't know everything about what's going on and maybe wait for an explanation next time Lothic. Dealing with that twitter scenario was REALLY unpleasant, I didn't need all this on the other end to boot. My job is thankless enough already.

Oh I actually assumed you must have been "tipped off" about this thread only very recently via some third party. I didn't know it was some idiot on Twitter but that specific data point was unimportant. There was no other reasonably logical explanation for why you chose to act NOW rather than a month ago.
Regardless I maintain that based on the fact that no one had posted to this thread for many weeks that it was very likely just going to fade away into obscurity just like most other threads do. The fact that you chose to actively do something here only managed to bring this whole thing back to life. Again I wouldn't be responding to you now about this if you hadn't decided to poke the proverbial bear here.
So I'm sorry you were apparently put between a rock and hard place over whatever Snowflake complained about this DEAD THREAD on Twitter but I still contend your best course of action would have been to have simply ignored it, especially if as you say the tweets that stirred this issue up again were themselves deleted. If however you felt this issue could not be ignored I probably would have deleted the entire thread - remember this thread was already inactive - I doubt ANYONE would have even noticed its complete removal.
Providing timely moderation to a forum like this is not only fine but expected of you. But once the "problem" in question is a month old and non-active as well I can only react by saying you've done nothing here but inflame something that didn't need to be inflamed.

I don't use/follow twitter PRECISELY because of BS like this. *shrugs*
