CoT's Alternate History Timeline?

It's been mentioned in updates that City of Titan's history differs from ours in ways not directly related to the City's lore (the Atlas hurricane being a lore-related example). One prominent example of this is that 911 did not occur in this timeline.

How much does CoT's history differ? Did WWII happen? Did the War of 1812 happen? Is there still a Soviet Union? Was there ever one? Etc.

I'll try to keep a list below of notable differences, "+" indicates an added event, "-" indicates an event that did not happen in the CoT universe but did in ours:
