Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.
It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

Is there a back story to City of Titans? Something like this:
The Titans have fallen. The world's greatest super team and their leader, The Paragon, are gone. Our city was destroyed by the Doomsday Machine of the Nth Column. Now, the granddaughter of The Paragon, Lady Liberty, started Project Phoenix, and sent out a call to all of us heroes, to rebuild and defend our city. Renaming it after the legendary fallen heroes and calling it--Titan City. Because, in our hearts, we are all Titans!
There is most definitely a back story. It is complex, and full of fun bits of information! The history of Titan City includes such things as {Redacted] and [Redacted], not to mention the [Redacted]! You'll find out some of it in the Kickstarter updates, but we will keep some of it to ourselves. What fun is playing through a story if you already know the end?

We are being extremely careful that things are staying away from that material because we don't want to invite that legal hammer to swing. I always liked the stories where the protagonist loses and the antagonist wins. Leaving the protagonist to vanish and one day returning to finally be able to win but only after the antagonist has changed the world.

COT: Mission tips writer, studying Cinema 4D animation program
I’m very excited to get a look at some of the lore! I’m hoping for something that is a little more inclusive to the type of character I want to play than some games have been. Even City of Heroes - which had lore that was easy to fit your character’s history into - had some elements that you’d just have to ignore at times. For example, the existence of a “Surviving Eight” kind of technically precluded a well-known superhero “player” from taking part in the first Rikti War. I hope to see a lore that I can drop my Golden Ager, Victorian Adventurer, lurid True Crime Boss, and shiny Silver Ager into with ease and still work with the history of the game world.
