Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.
It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.

Shame that the facebook page hasn't been updated in a year (give or take a few days). So long infact that I seriously do hope that you can shift people over to it. And you should have been using it from the start actually in my mind.

Ditto. I don't want to weigh the thread down with this sentiment, but I think it's worth emphasizing that there may be a significant number of us in this boat. Whatever our individual reasons may be, it stands to reason that participation in Facebook and social media in general is not universal.
Nonetheless, I have personally told many of my friends and family of the game. I'm happy to support the cause, just not through Facebook. Sorry about that.
The decision not to use it up until this point was deliberate. As is the decision to start using it now. We've gotten the appropriate people in control - for instance, me - and if you visit now you will find it's been cleaned up a bit.
It turned out only one person had access and we had to track that person down before we could update it, so the update got uploaded to the site a few hours before I was able to get in, take down that message from Zombie man and replace it with a welcome sign and the update post.

I don't personally use Facebook either, but my BUSINESS sure as heck has a Facebook page, and I get a lot of business from it. MWM And CoT would be absolutely boogety-boogety stark raving bonkers not to utilize Facebook. It just puts the ball in your court as to whether you want to start a page or not. If not, there are plenty of other ways to support them, so no biggie.
Also, as early as they are in the development process, whatever their reasons for waiting till now, I don't see any harm done. Even if so, no use crying over spilled milk.

Unrelated to the FB deal (I'd liked the City of Titans page awhile back), the comic picture in the update shows a skyline of Titan City, which looks awesome...but....idk...maybe I'm the only one who sees it, but the two largest towers* looks eerily similar to two other large towers...might that be a liability?
*I guess the tower about 15% from the left might be taller.

Naturally I (finally) got rid of the of the Facebook page that I used to like MWM's page when it first appeared. I no longer use FB but I guess I can make one. Got sick of FB's screwing with the system and moved everything over to Twitter. Oh well, off to bloody FB! :p

Yeah, add me to the list of people having an *ulp* moment seeing the Twin Towers in the City of Titans skyline. It's really a beautiful piece of artwork, but from that angle, I see another city, not *our* city... =P

I liked the City of Titans FB page during the kickstarter drive. Not only am I happy it's active now, I'm happy because it means they have some updates lined up to release there.
For those of you who don't like FaceBook, simply make a dummy account. You don't have to worry about privacy issues if you don't put any real info into it. Only like things you want to get updates from.

I agree. I think the fact that the vertical center of the building is almost the same color as the sky probably caused the confusion. It might also stand out more if the sky was a more distinct color.
For example, if Giygas invaded Titan City, the skyline might look more like this...

while you all have my support in basically everything you do, I have to decline getting a FB page for my own reasons. I do wish you all the best of luck in hitting the mark you have set though and really hope your able to not only achieve it but surpass it!
on a related note...if you all are going to be using FB more often, please ensure all information is shared not only there but here as well....and vice versa. basically, I don't want to find out information second hand because I don't have a FB page. that would make me a very sad hero. :( pretty much...if it's posted here, or there, it is immediately duplicated on the other. just a simple request! :)

I have to agree. I have a FB page, basically so my non-local family can pretend I'm keeping in contact. I barely ever remember to check it. My Mother and Brother know where to find me and that's good enough. I simply don't participate in 'social media'.
If there's news of any importance, I look for it on This site. If it's not on this site, then it must not be important.

+1 to whiteperegrine. I asked a friend of mine, who is on Facebook, to like the CoT page, just to help the cause, but I'm not on Facebook and I don't want to be. Please make all CoT related information public here or on the MWM page as well as Facebook.

I think there's a concentrated effort to keep MWM business separate from the CoT information. Sometimes they'll obviously be tied.. but there are some real objectives that the business needs that the game is not a place for.. recruiting volunteers and posting HR positions for example.

If you guys can't find people who want to like the page, use omegle or use some of the social media or games you play to get a bigger amount of likes. I've got two more in just from omegle and a lot more from a game I play.
Given the fact that the "ask five questions for 3k likes" is being done both on FB and the forums I'm pretty sure they are planing to use both places to equally share information. I'm sure if either face book or the forums is missing an update or news item in the future it would be by accident rather than design.
