Dc Universe online has a pretty cool idea for people to see what missions they recieved but finished or did'nt do yet.
I think the game would benefit from a casebook format when recieving Cases (missions) to solve.
But the casebook would actually look like a small casebook or blackberry , when you recieve the mission you can make a little note or share it with a team member while you do something else.
Case book would also keep tabs of your friends and foes progress or actions.

Would love to see random puzzles when doing cases to pinpoint a informant or PVE Villain.
It could be collecting various Clues of any kind even sharing or swapping them with friends or team mates.

App:
An app would be cool for the game to have to access thru your account , I invision a picture portrait of your character.
Cases done or recieved but havent done yet.
A slot for the Super group(guild) your a part of.
Ability to send messages ingame via ingame email.
Alisting of your Friends and Foes(PVP Rivals).
The ability to read and post anything onto the forum.
