Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

Was thinking how cool it would be to have some sort of in-house SG from character creation that only applied if you want it too. Some sort of connection between your main character an your alts. If your main was captured by a certain group they could a: give special rescue mission. Defeat android boss mimicking the ability of your mains powers toned down of course b: when alts read the paper it speaks of the disappearance of the main hero c: makes crime in the area he was captured a bit more difficult now that your "superman" has been put on "time out." For your alts maybe your main's nemesis or AV leader of capturing group would appear in TV/electronic ads around the city showing him/her bound an surrounded while they taunt you to save them. You would be the only person who could see it when your playing solo. Just a little something for the solo artist of the community to keep busy. Another reason to add a create nemesis option after mains creation. Another way to save an alt would be to defeat them in combat due to brainwashing effect from said group. Missions will always jump to your level. So your lvl 30 won't be stuck because you only have a level three guy as an alt. Maybe some badges or temp powers for success of saving your own heroes.

It would be tricky, but I like the basic idea. I know they had rescue missions in CoH and a nemesis function in CO, I don't see why they couldn't take it a step further. But there would have to be a way to opt out of it. Otherwise there will be complaints.

I don't get mad, I restructure the laws of quantum physics and resolve the situation with temporal engineering.

Or maybe if your defeated then captured. If your alts fail to save you or your main hero remains captured for x amount of time. Next time you log in with main you get to try the escape mini game. Its a minor stealth game were you simply need to escape undetected. Using your "other" abilities such as as supers sense to smell enemies nearby. Mabe you can see threw walls. Mabe even your electric guy can short out key cameras, alarms too help you detect,evade,stealth kill you way back home. All of this could simply be optional flavoring. If someone gets frustrated they can simply opt out to respawn in the hospital ER like before. Nothing wrong with that but I guess I prefer being captured because its more believable in a way. For me. Would be nice that failing certain missions unlocks personal rescue mission for said hero.

They did have a doppelganger

They did have doppelganger missions in CoH so the ability to copy the character and it's powersets as a mission instance is proven to be possible. All the extra things you mention I am unsure about.

They also had prison missions, where if you were defeated you respawned into a prison cell. This was in CoT and 5th Column/Council maps, so being captured is also something that can be achieved. In fact in the Eden trial rescuing captured heros was part of the storyline too, so in theory it's just taking all this to a more complex level.

Hopefully the Devs will have the resources to pull it off. Maybe a few issues down the line once the basics of the game settle in. Your right about what was possible before. Would be great to see that aspect of the game grow.

Ok...took me a minute to get

Ok...took me a minute to get my head around it but yeah...this has a lot of possibilities.

Basically, any of your characters could start a SG. Any characters you create after that would have the option of being a member when created (thus avoiding the whole 'invite my own alts' thing). If you log into any characters created BEFORE the SG was created they get the option to join if they're not already in another SG.

Your SG theme would determine how the members communicate (magic, tech, clues whatever). If one character gets nabbed you can log to another character in the same SG, catch the information via whatever means the SG uses and try to get them out.

Best part is, you could do this for SGs with more members (as in real players). Say you and some other players make a SG just like usual. One of you is soloing and gets nabbed. The same information system that informs YOUR alts in YOUR SG would inform the other players what's going on and invite them to team up to get you out.

This means Spontaneous Mission Generation (tm)! Forget Newspaper Missions and trolling the streets for bad guys. If one of your mates gets caught there's a mission created to get them out!
