Hello everybody! I recently came across an article on Polygon about a game that was in development namely, "[b]Undead Overlord[/b]" this game is being developed by former Cryptic Studio's Ceo Cameron Petty as well as a handful of other developers. I was lead to a Youtube video of a trailer for their game and i had to jump at the chance to wish them good luck and praise Cameron for the work he and the rest of Cryptic did on CoX. I was lucky enough to actually get a reply from Cameron himself! As well as some thoughts on City of Titans. So without further ado here is the comments from the youtube video.

[b]Slim Tim[/b] - So if i understand right the CEO of Cryptic Studios is one of the founders of Jump Core Productions. If that's the case then best of luck to the team. Anyone involved with that masterpiece City of Heroes should get a second chance at something big. I'll be keepin' an eye on this game and developer.

[b]Jump Core Productions (Cameron Petty)[/b] - Cameron here - and you do understand right, Slim Tim! Thanks for the awesome vote of confidence. This project is much more humble than COH was, at least in it's initial form, but we still hope it will be something cool and different in the zombie space. It's interesting, though - the design started off (way back when) as an MMO design. :-) If you're interested in the long version of the story, it's available on my blog (at Catch Games d-o-t c-o-m). [b]Slim Tim[/b] - It certainly looks very interesting, taking inspiration from games such as Dungeon Keeper is huge in my book. I'll be looking forward to see where Undead Overlord goes. I have a question for you Cameron, if you don't mind. Have you heard of City of Titans and if so what is your opinion on it? I'd love to hear it from a former Cryptic Studios member. (I'll definitely check out your blog, thanks for the link!)

[b]Jump Core Productions (Cameron Petty)[/b] - Had not heard of COT until now, thanks for sharing that. I thought it was a shame that NCSoft shutdown COH, and yet would not part with the IP for the game - so I love the idea of a community built successor. I'm a little dubious of MWM's chances of pulling it off, but, in the spirit of indie love and hope, I'll probably have to back that project. :-) It would be great to at least give them a decent start . . . which is the idea for their current Kickstarter campaign, as I understand it.
