According to the patch notes, one change that we can expect is:
If you've already clicked it, or if you loaded a female-body costume file, does it change to "change from female to male"? Or perhaps "change to male from female"?

Do we need to uninstall the Avatar builder completely in order to get the new patched version.

I don't think so. If you look at their comment and compare it to AlphaDean, there are only a few differences. I noticed a similar posting style in one of the other threads that have been necro'd recently.

The AB that's available now checks for updates when you launch it. I can say we've made some big developments internally recently, but it hasn't gone live yet.
