Does anybody remember when the City of Heroes community pined for a Big Red Ball?
Well, obviously, i do. I'm just wondering if there might be a similar desire for a Big Red Ball in City of Titans. Just a large red ball, like a kickball, that can be played with by anyone in any way one can interact with physical objects.
I'll try to remember to come back to this thread, but i have a bad habit of forgetting to check forums.

I feel like some of the reasons it was poopooed by the devs in COH are still valid reasons in UE4.
But maybe not, maybe there is a module for that in the UE4 store that's just sitting there and waiting to be picked up by the dev team.
I always thought that it would be really cool to have a instance either in and arena or whatever, where the characters could play with some non-visual physics. IE a waterbed floor or BRB etc. That would be really exciting and wouldn't be world ending if the physics engine on the server got overwhelmed and tossed the players out.
The only game that I can think of right now that has anything like that would be rocket league. That's an entire game devoted to BRB and has a limited player server. I can't think of an MMO that has a shared physics driven entity like BRB in the open world.

Insurance is Titan City is a bleeding edge science. Actuaries have to be able to figure out, on the fly, how much is will cost to restore a building that has been destroyed by radioactive fungus, high-energy photon beams, or what the impact of two dozen robo-catgirls will have on civilian casualty rates. BRB? Just another day at the office.
Wait until you see the... nope, that would ruin the surprise.
