Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

This would more or less be the appearance of Safiya or rather Medjay in costume, however the bow would be wooden or at least appear to be, with the arrows in their leather quiver seeming to be made of solid embers, the tips hot like a fire poker’s.
Her bracer on her left arm would be small, about the size of a band of bracelets, and allows her to transform and gain access to her weapons, though her powers are always active. Her hair varies, but as Medjay seems to style itself in a ancient Egyptian plait, and she would sport a khopesh across her back.
Also worthy of note, when accessing her enhanced senses or her ability to look deeper, into the Duat, an Eye of Horus symbol will appear across her forehead, a literal manifestation of the sight of Neith.
As far as cosmetics, her eyes bare kol, and she smells (across all forms) of Susinim, or a mix of myrrh, lily, and cinnamon.

Time for the gala? And thoughts on where it should be held? I was thinking a location in either New York, or near the opening of the actual Duncan Building a few weeks later?

There are plenty of great event venues in New York City. As far as a time jump, I think you should ask yourself this. How cocky/assured is Anderson? Would he have already started planning a victory gala or begun construction on the team's HQ? Or both?

The idea I had in mind is that the building was created and situated in Olympia, post Hurricane Atlas as an office building that was created in the hopes of bringing back some business, but was swallowed up shortly afterwards thanks to the NRD and business section of the city taking off.
So rather than being built, it exists, it simply needs to be repurposed. My other idea was a donated brownstone from the Anderson family in Old Bradford as a start up for the time, or lastly and most likely a joint funding retrofitting of a building in the office building/green space of Eos Park, funding in three parts by a UN Grant, Anderson, and in a surprise move, Stanton Parrish himself?
As far as cocky and assured, the victory gala or rather the celebration party is most definitely planned, while the fixing up of the HQ is done they probably have a temporary base maybe? Thoughts?

Advanced Protector and Enforcer Exemplar 1, otherwise known as APEX, is an adaptive android, and I felt was the best way to challenge a new team.
Oh, and Acyl, I want to be clear and state that APEX attempted an approximation of a psychic response to Decade’s probing, and would be basically attempting to create a blast that stuns him for a bit.

Noted! It's a logical thing for the 'adapt to anything' robot.
EDIT: Editing to add, and avoiding double-posting... so, I realise that the general [i]concept[/i] of the telepath powerset is sometimes awkward to roleplay around - I don't want to step on anyone's agency or anything, yeah? Please let me know if you've got any issues, in character, out of character, or whatever. But thus far in the IC thread, I'm trying to describe what AoE team buffing would be, coming from a psionic character who's specialised in that sort of thing.
Basic communications was what Decade activated first, then the provision of a kind of shared radar or minimap sense. Or wallhacks, if you prefer. I mean, I don't [i]know[/i] what we're getting in CoT, but I like to imagine we'll have the good old leadership pool toggles, and this is +ToHit and +Perception. :D
I like the way described how it plays to everyone’s senses and such. I will note that in the case of connecting to Safiya’s mind, Decade would be able to sense a heavier presence, not like a puppeteer or a controlling force, but something else.
This would be Neith, or rather a portion of her power and presence in Safiya, granting her the abilities she uses.

Unless your character was more interested in Tinker than the robot the only real thing you should note is that he simply leaves in the middle of the chaos.
His method of leaving wouldn't have been "power scan-able"

Given that Impetus' powers are more based around localized time manipulation and Apex is adapting to every power, would it be possible at all for her to 'slow' him down slightly at all? Granted she'd need to get in close to do so via the means of physical contact, but I only ask because I don't want to seem to uninterested in the events unfolding.

Potentially, but the rationalization with that is he has enhanced processing units and given his ability is technically a form of power draining/mimicry it would be more that he has to devote more power to compensating for her powers.

I already had in mind that part of the reason APEX hasn’t moved to civilians yet, is due to Impetus moving them out of harm’s way and not making herself known to him at the moment. He knows she’s there, but she hasn’t engaged him.

I was all set to claim Nanaue as my archvillain, but that is actually the identity of DC Comic's [i]King Shark[/i] and would be a direct infringement (and completely unoriginal), even though both would be based on actual mythology.
So I'm going with Kaupe:

It has killed Kahuna's ancestors, which explains why his family moved to Kiribati before our Kahuna returned to Hawaii to confront it. They have vowed to end each other and only time will tell who will emerge the victor.

Sorry, my train of thought there went from "elementalist" to "earth" and made a wrong turn at "mountain" to "snow". But if some of APEX is lock down by earth, it makes for less ice needed, so that would work, maybe.

With Glady's permission, maybe Mr. Tinker could get some intel that there is a highly encrypted signal coming from APEX and he could work on tracking it? Maybe that gives us the first of many clues that eventually leads to Parrish?

Her old friend and now arch-enemy could be Victoria Chadwell, a fellow archaeologist from England who worked with her on various projects. Victoria admired Safiya but was also envious of her. Safiya was just a bit better than her at everything, also as a local Egyptian she was more well-connected and got along better with the native guides and others who worked on the projects.
Victoria and Safiya shared a love of learning and solving mysteries, but where Safiya wanted to advance the knowledge of history for its own sake, Victoria wanted to use it for fame and wealth. She was not above pocketing the occasional artifact and “forgetting” to catalog it. She also became convinced that the ancient Egyptians had special knowledge over life and death and could unlock immortality. She was a bit obsessed with the Book of the Dead and was sure there were unrealized secrets in it.
She did tip off the thieves, she believed that Safiya suspected her and also wanted to be rid of her rival. She was not pleased that Safiya survived the attack, and shortly afterward she left the Neith Temple dig to fully pursue her studies into Egyptian magic.
She was successful though, and found an item of true power; the Staff of Serket. Serket was a goddess of magic and scorpions. She wasn’t evil, she was actually a fertility goddess and a healer. But her magic in the hands of a greedy and amoral person becomes corrupted and dark. Victoria did not earn the power as Safiya did, rather she stole it.
The staff gives her the power to heal and to poison. She can summon vermin (swarms of locusts, scarabs, scorpions, rats) or control nearby animals. She herself is totally immune to poison and other toxins.
As a sorceress she takes the name Leiurus, which is a genus of scorpion. The most common member of that genus is the deathstalker scorpion, which is also very closely-associated with Serket.
My idea for Safiya’s nemesis, a greedy and amoral sorceress and potentially a part of something bigger than just being Medjay’s enemy.

[hr]I like to take your ideas and supersize them. This isn't criticism, it is flattery. I come with nothing but good will and a spirit of team-building. If you take what I write any other way, that is probably just because I wasn't very clear.

Okay, if we go much longer without continuing, interest is going to wane. I don't know what's up with Atama or The Hybrid, but it doesn't seem like we're going to hear from them anytime soon. We may have to move on without them.
Glady, you said earlier that there was a specific point when it would be good for Sleepy to bring in Wintermute. Are we close to that point?

You actually have two options Sleepy-you can have Wintermute deploy now as a last minute rescue, though the robot’s all but finished now, or in light of what just happened, perhaps Russia sees fit to formally submit a hero to the team, now?

I will admit I have been struggling to find motivation to write atm. Lots of stuff going on for me.
Hybrid do you mean to lift the entire thing up, or just the head that’s a bomb? Because the head was the most important part to destroy, hence why it was sent airborne.
