Proposed character summary: Pilot of a Phoenix Hawk LAM, coming to whichever planet this is aboard the dropship [I]Perfect Tommy[/i], possibly with supplies and/or more PCs and mechs. Safe arrival of the dropship and whether or not it's sticking around to be determined. Bonus points for recognizing link between the name of the dropship and the Battletech setting. ^_^

Okay to give you all an idea of what he's driving I did some google searching for images. Just follow the link. On Q-nark's version the legs can stretch out and have tank treads on the inside lower leg for faster movement.

Elena Montana is her [I]nom de guerre[/I]. I'm thinking the dropship got attacked while passing over Raven airspace on the way to somewhere else entirely, and some Raven either got an itchy trigger finger or thought they were going to help out the Archangels. So now the dropship needs repairs, and Elena needs to teach some Ravens not to shoot at Institute vehicles. ^_^

Note that the Griffin's PPC has a max range of about 540m, compared to the LRM at 630 and the Gauss Rifle (Scottie thinks of it as a Gauss Cannon, to him a Gauss Rifle is an infantry weapon ^_^) at 660. So if no-one else shoots at Scottie, Marv will use his LRM 10 on the scorpion and land in the hex next to Scottie, both about 540 m from the Scorpion as it finishes its lunge at Q...

hey all im losing interest in this particular thread and thinking of starting a different one....ive been playing the hell out of the xwing miniatures game... and have a campaign i created like a rpg ive been into (when i have the time) on weekends. anyways.. if anyone is interested, id like to start a star wars based rp thread.
