Hey there! This is my first post, but it just occurred to me that I might be able to offer a small service to this project.

I've been a long-time player of CoH and I'm extremely excited about CoT. One thing I always really loved about the game was all the incidental dialogue you'd see during missions or just when zooming around the city. NPCs talking to each other randomly, or talking to the character. I also loved all the plaques, and the text on the badges... it all felt so polished, like every little thing was very carefully written, even though most players would never, ever read it.

I'm going to University to get a degree in Creative Writing (to go into either the gaming industry or novel publishing industry), and I can't think of anything better for my professional portfolio than being able to say I was a writer for aesthetic text for an MMO.

If at all possible, I'd like to volunteer to be one of the people (or just... the person) who writes the text for badges, NPC dialogue, and things like that.

If there's any need at all for a person to do this job... I'm happy to do it for free. And I feel like this is something the game needs to do well if it's going to be a spiritual successor to CoH. I think I can do it well.

Man, this post was longer than I thought it would be. Ah well. You never know until you try! And by "try" I mean ramble for ten minutes on a forum.
