Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

Another Lantern thread: a replacement for the "Lantern" trademark name

Trademarks are a dangerous thing. Heroes with magic rings are fairly common but the Lantern name has a copyright.

How would you rename the Lantern part in your Lantern Corps?
Everyone in your group would have the same power color, the same aura, just different powers (if even that).

obviously, you could go beyond just the name to make other things different as well.
colors no longer need to match the Lantern style, though your group would still have the same color.
Rings could be changed too. Like staves used as firing points, or gems inset somewhere in your costume also used as a firing point.

all you really need is a name change, but how would you be different?

The main reason they are

The main reason they are called lanterns is because of their power source, which is used to charge up their rings. The lantern.

So, does this group need a way to charge up their rings? What would they use then? We could go more dark and assume that they use kind of a biological source, like human blood. Or we could go cute and they use the lunar light.

Especially as they are a corporation. (Lantern Corp)
So maybe "Dark Light Association"? I don't know. :)

Update:
After taking some time to think about it, I came to this idea:

"Lunar Knights" I liked the idea of the moonlight being a power source. But I discarded it after some thought and changed the source to helium-3. So instead of rings I would love that the power is drawn from the armor. The armor has small tubes with helium-3 in it. At the center of the back the helium-3 gets in contact with itself and a reaction happens. The atoms would fuse and the energy gets through the whole armor.
So the power would be the energy of a tiny fusion reactor. (I know it wouldn't be possible like that)
And would be shot in tiny Impulses from gloves.

Why "Lunar Knights"? Because Helium-3 is mostly naturally found on our moon.

In one of my pen & paper

In one of my pen & paper gaming universes, the Lantern Corps analogues were called Torc Stellars. Yes, their Widget of Power was worn around their neck.
