Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

All your base

I'm sorry if this has already been answered elsewhere I found some discussion of it but nothing that explained it on a satisfactory level. The all your base perk :

"One of the base features we'll be implementing are secret entrances. At this level you'll be able to use an additional set of doors only available to sponsors of this level plus correspondingly themed base decor."

The set of doors mentioned, how many doors are there? where are the doors? Do they only lead to your super group base? Does it give the door access to you or to the super group base itself? I assume this is largely a convenience function but what's unclear is just how functional it is. I am very interested I just want to know what I would be getting, I would love to donate as much as possible but without knowing what exactly I'm getting that's a little more than I would otherwise be able to convince myself to donate. Thanks in advance and while I'm at it congratulations on the 437k thus far. I'm very excited.

I can't reveal the location

I can't reveal the location of the doors. It's a secret...

Sorry, couldn't resist. I am also curious about this, as I am currently at a higher pledge level that includes this.

Let's say you're an

Let's say you're an egotistical obnoxious blind-luck spy whose 'base' is located going through a laundromat. In the game, you can pick the door at the store front of a laundromat as your entrance. Tell you fellow super agents to enter your base through that door.

So you're saying what it does

So you're saying what it does is let you turn a door somewhere into a portal to your sg base? The description says "an additional set of doors only available to sponsors of this level" so I'm afraid I'm still confused. If the set of doors is referring to the door that acts as a secret entrance and the other side of that door in your sg base does that mean that not only sponsors of that level but anyone in a sg with a sponsor of that level can use it? The description on the kick starter page makes it sound more like the underground network the graveyard daemons use in Snowcrash, like it gives you access to a network of shortcuts to travel across maps or parts of the map quickly.

So what it actually does, if I understand correctly, is lets you pick a building door to be a shortcut to your sg base that works for you and anyone in your sg?

Also can you move the door after you have picked a location? I assume the sg it goes to updates with your current sg status. The more people in your sg with this perk the more secret doors there are or is it limited to one per sg base? If someone not in the sg finds it can they use it? If so would they end up at their sg base or mine? Sorry to ask so many questions I just don't fully understand what this perk really does.

Full details to be worked out

Full details to be worked out later since we don't even have bases up and running yet.

I think we generally understand that it's far too early for the Devs to know exactly how this thing is going to work. But when we're being asked to effectively pay $250 for this one single perk (the difference in cost between Geocatcher and All Your Base) it obviously would be nice to know something specific.

I think what might put everyone's mind at ease here would be some sort of guarantee that regardless of how this "secret door" thing is going to work that at the very least it will be reassignable at will. Nothing would piss me off more than to have ONE chance to set a special door like this then never be able to change it again. I'd be very reluctant to even assign it in the first place if I knew I couldn't reset it whenever I wanted. Hopefully the Devs will keep that in mind when it's being developed.

P.S. Perhaps as a way to keep people from abusing it you could impose a "construction" period of like one hour after the door is assigned. This way people couldn't just continuously reset it like a poor-man's TP back to the base from any door.

Well to make it extra special

Well to make it extra special for the donation it is more then just linking your door somewhere but also extra base decor to go along with it. Our code guys have worked out some of the logistics and they know what we can do and how we can link and have played around some with that. As for things like your asking. Can it be moved? That hasn't been decided. Obviously we don't want to have to keep relinking bases over and over again every day. So if enough people want this to be a feature then we will have to look into some type of realistic limitation. Like the construction period that Lothic suggested. Honestly we will do what we can to make y'all happy within our limits of ability to do so.

As for if more then one person has this perk. We have talked about multiple base entrances and UDK does support multiple entrances to instances which we have gone into before discussing instanced missions. The same thing would apply to bases.

If you set it to be for your supergroup then everyone in your supergroup will be able to use the entrance. It will be like any other base door.

By default it will be something that any of your characters on your account will be able to access, correct? Essentially a 'common home' for all your characters?

This is yet another good question. I understand that many people who played CoH liked having a single "Common Home" SG base where they collected all of their characters. Nothing wrong with that idea and if this secret SG door is accessible by all the characters on a single account then that should be fine.

But I for one liked to roleplay many of my alts as individuals. This meant that I had characters who belonged to different SGs based on their own character circumstance. Some of them were the founders of their own SGs, others were merely members of different SGs. So what's going to happen if I have the All Your Base secret door and I have say 10 characters who belong to 10 different SGs? Can I have 10 different secret doors (one per character) or will all 10 characters (who may have nothing in common roleplay-wise) have to share one meta-secret door? For example let's say I have both Superman and Solomon Grundy as characters on my account. Does it make sense that my Superman ought to be able to use my Grundy's Legion of Doom secret entrance and end up at his Fortress of Solitude?

Don't get me wrong here - I'm glad the Devs of CoT are going to offer some kind of "secret door" for SGs. But clearly there are a large number of details that are going to have to be figured out to make them work well.
