no worries, as I said, just a suggestion given that was the original reasoning behind it. :)
I would suggest something generic, in ways, given the nature of the alignment system, you will want to keep it to something that all sides can associate with. I'll think about some possibilities and post em when I get a lil listytype thing together.
regarding hailing back to CoH, I am luke warm towards...I would avoid any direct ties if that is the direction you are all looking at. we are in a new age, and while history is good, I like the idea of looking forward versus back.

I usually consider the Classical muses, but then I wonder which Muse is in charge of Skywriting, Coding HTML, or wiring up an ATX Motherboard? I have no problem conceiving of a Single, slightly schizophrenic Muse, inspiring all arts.
The SG could be called 'The Muses of Art', or 'Echoes of Paragon'. Or, given the electronic nature of our main medium, 'Artists of the Ephemeral'.
Your 'Titan 606' works, too, as a reference to the old, without spreading it on with a trowel. Still, we might have to fake up some lore to support '606'.
'Art City Enclave', the ACEs? 'Titan City Art Whores'? Perhaps too irregular. 'Art City Titans'? Except, you know, some of us are short and don't have much talent.
'Titan City Artists Commune'? Where people wander around wearing nothing but a mask, because Sapphy convinced them it was a good idea? Or perhaps they'll blame the brownies. Whoah, she like, mesmerized me with her Tail, or something, man.
'Artists and Art Appreciators', the Triple-A?
I'm not sure I can appreciate 'Really Long Acronym For Something (we think is) Clever' as a name. 2-4 words should do the job.

so while working on a lil conglomeration of the work I have done for the various folks here it occurred to me the title may work here as well.
[b]The Forum[/b]
would fit the requirement in that it would be referring to the old and the new. given a forum is, at it's basic, merely a meeting of individuals...this would allow for folks to come and go but is a common place to meet none the less. given the alignment system, it is also neutral as such even the evilly inclined shouldn't have an issue with the name being to "goody". ....it's simple, short and to the point.

I suppose whether the name is "super" enough would depend on the reader. It would also depend on the context of said group and how they are presented as a whole. I can see the name implying "mysterious" but given the benign nature of the word I would hardly assume it to be automatically "nefarious". I could see it implying some other agenda though, whether this is good or bad, again, would depend on the context in which the group is presented.
couple other thoughts regarding the name as a whole:
* it's neutral in appearance and allows for players to view the name however they would like as it applies to their character.
* it is neutral to alignment, as such all would be welcome to join. would there be "clique's" within, sure...like mind alignments will naturally gravitate towards one another for adventures. the team as a whole though provides a common meeting place for all to talk with one another.
* I like the generic nature of it, again, it is left to the player to associate what they will to it in regards to their tenure on the forums, both here, the old CoH forums, titannetwork forums, etc...
obviously, I am biased. :p

I'm not an artist, this I know, but this thread caught my eye. The idea intrigues me. How about something like
606 Scallywags
The 606 reflects back to the old CoH artist forum, "Scallywags" implies non-conformity without being either heroic or villainous. For someone who is unfamiliar with the history of the group, "606" could just be a weird sort of number implying how many members there are. For someone familiar with the old forum, it might bring them a fond smile.
For what it's worth, it can also be spelled "Scalawags".

Its actually in a LOT of movies and TV shows it's just well hidden. It's a room at the California Institute for the Arts that a lot of artists at Disney and Pixar learned animation. Specifically, it was set up by Walt Disney himself - so making references to and it's now gone way past just Pixar- you see it in everything from Avatar to commercials, print ads, even billboards, the[url=http://www.a113animation.com/2011/02/a113.html] Simpsons[/url].
But for names... "Retcons", "War Strokes"... ummm... ummm... ok... I got nothin here - I'm just spitballin. :P

'Atlas of Art' has some interesting connotations.
I'm not really committed to anything, but don't really feel the most specific references. I was a fan of the Arts forum, but never attached any significance to '606', for instance.
I DO have a sense of which of my characters might be most at home in such a SG.
