There is just something about that game. I don't typically talk about the other COH related efforts on this forum, but for the sake of context I loaded Paragon Chat via Tequila yesterday. My daughter is 4 and has never seen COH. She quickly lamented that it was empty as no one was on. Then she pointed out it was boring since there's nothing to do. I let her build her own character and she seemed slightly amused. Today I came home from work and the first thing out of her mouth was, "Can we play that game?" She wanted to do nothing but play the "empty", "boring" game all night. She cried when I put her to bed. OK, she cries a lot anyway, but the point remains. There was just something about that game. I hope that "something" get's re-created here. I can't wait to spin up two copies and play with my little girl.
"THE TITANS ARE COMING! THE TITANS ARE COMING!"
Well, you know, 'that game' is the one we all enjoyed and are looking to play Like, again. And Paragon Chat isn't 'that game', even though it uses a lot of the same resources. Paragon Chat is not in competition with City of Titans, so there's no reason not to talk about it.
Some of use are using Paragon Chat as a resource, you know?

Do they have the server interaction API decoded? Like what value in what field initiates power X (with animation Y, if separate) on the client? Commands to tell the client to move monster x over thataway, etc.
It would be interesting to take a crack at a rudimentary game engine. Aren't power definitions in Mids somewhere? That which scares others does not scare me.

The very existence of the taunting tank irritates, for it requires idiotic AI that obeys the taunt.
If you really want to know, don't ask me, or here. Go ask Codewalker on the Titan Network. I'm certain that they have a 'Chat Server' and not a 'Game Server'.

Gorgon, more power to you! Don't worry too much about Captain Obvious' tone, but Codewalker is probably the person to ask.
