This is Black Falcon. The cowl neck piece doesn't go down far enough to tie in with her top (what there is of it). So I used the heavy chains necklace, colored it black and it blended in just right.
Thank you.

or we could just be able to put color on our necks.
I'd like a Roman Collar.
Father William was able to fake it with a square broach
but you have to have a cape for that
and not every priest is a Monsignor.

We really have no idea how CoT will be handling "cowl neck lengths" or how they'll relate to tops. For all we know there'll be no need to use a necklace to "cover a gap" there.
That being said I do hope we'll have a bunch of necklace/choker options regardless.

There is so much functionality of the Avatar builder to understand before requesting specific pieces.

Poppycock
I can ask for anything I want without understanding a thing
And they can say no if it can't be done or if it's too much trouble.

I'm not speaking to the functions we may not be able to use. I'm speaking to the functionality that will surpass what you can do in CoH. The moving/stretching icons on the body will go a long way to creating truly unique shapes*.
That's just one aspect of how this AB is not limited (or require devs make each particular individual piece in post-production) by the limitations of CoH. There are surely more examples

Obviously you can ask for and/or suggest anything you want. Still a free forum more or less.
But if you actually have some understanding about what you're asking for you'll be able to self-censor yourself and not bother asking for things that are clearly either silly or more-or-less a waste of time.
It really doesn't take much effort to ask for "reasonably intelligent" things, not just "anything that comes to mind".

sometimes I might ask for silly, impossible things because I think it's funny.
Nothing wrong with that.
I hope you like it too.
Waste of time?
People always say that about entertainment
but without it life is unbearable.
You see my last post on the Fishing thread?
Of course it wont make sense unless you read the Fishman stuff other people posted first.

I immediately looked at your picture after you said that and said, "hmmmmm, very fitting statement" :p
I agree with you that it's way too early to start asking for specifics, but I just want to put it out there that I really hope the Carnival of Light costume set(whether exact or similar) makes it's way into the costume creator, just sayin'

Wow. Some great answers here! Thank you!

It's funny I wasn't thinking of that specifically but I suppose having a wide choker/collar like that would allow for better Maleficent clones. :)
Getting back to the idea Cyclops started the thread with I assume people will eventually figure out all sorts of ways to mix-n-match the new costume options for CoT to not only cover up "gaps" and other clipping issues but come up with unique styles the Devs never envisioned. People became really clever pushing CoH to the limits so no reason to think the same won't happen in CoT.

The only sad thing about the necklace was in COH the neck and shoulders were the same position. So BF was denied all the cool shoulder pieces.

Just need some good collar options! I've been using collars on my main since the beginning! First it was the Spiked Collar of CoH, now it's the Dogz Collar in CO, but I want the collar! And no, it's not for any other reason than back in CoH, I just thought the neck needed something to hide the breakline point on the avatar, so it's just become a fashion choice. :p
Also, I'd love to get two tail scarf back. In CO I only have one tail on my scarf, it's just not the same!
Yes! Collars, chokers, whatever!
and I agree with you, the two tail scarf is a must!

I want more than a choker. I want the collar. :p
Well, if we're going to have collars, can we have some kind of emote where another PC can be holding the leash? I see this in conventions all the time. ;_;
Has anyone seen my mind? It was right here...
Would it tether the one player? If we can have that emote, then I would think hope for grapples!
speaking of collars...the kind I would like to see applies more to jackets...mainly tight fitting jackets. nice stiff collar on a tight jacket that can have the chest design options placed on it...
regarding chokers, real collars and such...sure...but they really need to be their own location and not shared with shoulders or head pieces.

This is true. I heard they were giving us unlimited spools of chain, barbed wire, and razor wire and we have total body freedom to wrap it wherever.
I am pretty sure that's in there. :-)

The very existence of the taunting tank irritates, for it requires idiotic AI that obeys the taunt.
I'll leave you to the whole idea of wrapping barbed/razor wire around whatever body parts you want. I suppose the more design freedom we get with costume creators in games the more we'll have to decide how we'll want to handle the inevitable "barbed wire bikinis" that follow. ;)

Barbed wire bikinis? Putting invulnerability to the test with that one, are we not?
Kinda puts the kibosh on the annual Titan city Hug a Hero Day.

I thought the idea of a barbed wire bikini was to discourage handling.
I was mostly just thinking about turning the classic "chainmail bikini" trope up to 11. ;)

One thing that I was thinking of recently was using a piece of jewelry or clothing as a weapon... Like the knife boot, or using the big chain/barbed wire necklace as a melee weapon would be kind of cool. I guess this would work mainly for players who are going for a vigilante or villain character but I was just thinking it might add a bit of flavor to brawl type characters.
To recall something fairly recent that I watched. In American Horror Story Lady Gaga used a glove with fake metal nails on it to kill people. It will be interesting to see if anything similar to this gets created by the Lethal Weapon Kickstarter backers
