But it looks like Brand X has run into Ellysyn's and LeadWanderer's and Gladatoria's favorite forum bug: topic names that include "girl" or "teen" seem to be unreplyable. "Love" may also be a forbidden word. I suspect an overly zealous anti-predator script; if so, we might have to just live with it.
But anyway, here's a place to comment/post replies to Brand X's problem thread(s), if you are so inclined. ^_^

Wow that's unfortunate. I assume this "list of evil words" is something hardwired in the forum code and not something the mods can override? At the very least you'd think the forum GUI would warn you when you tried to use a "forbidden" word in a topic title and give you the chance to change it before submitting a disabled/unrespondable topic.
I'll have to try the link in question when I have the chance - looks cool at any rate.

I like your character, Bleddyn! She definitely looks like an assassin. If you're still not sure what to do with her, you could start by writing down whatever comes to mind about her. Getting her into some RP might be another option.

The cape by the way is intended to be an cloak that she currently isn't wearing up and around her body. I am glad someone likes my design. I went through several before I decided on that simple one.

Obviously this fun little costume app has no direct connection to what MWM is working on for CoT. But I'm willing to go out on a limb and say that it would be pretty cool if the "look/feel" of CoT's costume creator produced results that were at least similar to what we're seeing with these posted examples. I think they have a good mix of "realistic detail" and "comic book styling" that would work well with CoT.
I won't go so far as to suggest the Devs of CoT need to copy these things pixel-for-pixel but they ought to at least be familiar with it as they produce their own costuming system.

I think this bears repeating. nearly all the iconic costumes out there are actually very simple in design. the key is coming up with something simple and new. I have always 'tried' to keep the look of all my heroes as simple as possible as I feel that if you 'clutter' up the costume to much it just becomes a jumbled mess...and while jumbled messes can look good, we tend to forget those faster than the ones that are clean and simple.

Doesn't let me do the red stripes on the sleeves (ie. the Red Lines), nor the "tech" belt exactly right, and I can't do white soled sneakers with black uppers, but those are mainly just quibbles rather than outright complaints. Other than that, it's a surprisingly good bit of paper doll programming.

left hand was open so showing dual pistols was out. relatively close otherwise. bracers should be solid, chest straps should be crossing and the boots need to be higher with the holsters on them. had to do some layering to get the mask close and still black...versus the transparent ones on the initial head screen.
