I was thinking of doin' a super complicated thing.

I was thinking of doing a mini charity Kickstarter...or something like that. Basically, the COT community (you) would come up with a "badge" that would then be sold for some value, $5? to cover the costs of producing/shipping the pins and any left over would go to a charity, Wounded Warriors, Red Cross, something like that. Designs would be submitted and voted on, as would the charity and if there's enough support to float the Kickstarter everyone gets a fancy hold it in your hand, pin it to your whatever badge and makes a small donation in the name of the COT community to the charity.

The trick is that nothing happens unless enough money is raised through the Kickstarter to cover costs.

I wanted to gauge support for some crazy idea like this. I think the balance comes out to something like 500 pins minimum. The more orders for pins the greater the donation to charity. This would be a heck of a lot of work so unless I get a lot of support I don't think I'll do it.
