At about twenty-five minutes in, while talking about the opening of the gates of Ahn'Qiraj: "It turns out you should totally be talking to your server engineers when you have a plan like this."
There were a lot of other interesting bits in it, but that's the one I hope you need most. ^_^

This reminds me. If the game devs are worried about server population at roll-out, it might be better to do it one time-zone at a time, i.e. each person can log in, at the earliest, when it's 6pm or whenever in their local time zone. Something like that might mitigate transient server overloads.

I was amused by - and felt a little bad for - the one fellow when he lamented that there was still no skiing in WoW. Poor guy.

There's lots of things you can't do in WoW. For instance, you can't ride a horse properly. If you actually rode mounts the way they're shown in WoW, the critters would turn around and kill you. Most 'flying' causes sea-sickness. All of those cat and dog mounts - sea-sickness. You can't fire a Bow properly, if you're a Tauren. Most characters can't look over their own shoulders, because of no-neck, or because their shoulder pads are taller than their heads.
Be Well!

To add on to what you are saying. You can't use a two-handed weapon properly if you're a Forsaken, Blood Elf, or Gnome.
