Moguls were an Add-on, not a backer level.
You could back at the Armchair Hero level for $5, and then add on the Mogul perk for $500, for a total pledge of $505.

I'm surprised that a bridge was not one of the choices, given the symbolism and grandeur of a really good suspension bridge.
I'd be surprised if no one chose a bridge, even if it wasn't offered. The map (slide 15 in the powerpoint presentation mentioned in [url=http://cityoftitans.com/comment/71604#comment-71604]this post[/url]) indicates we need lots of bridges. And if someone had a good idea, I wouldn't be surprised if the devs replaced one.

I am actually interested in hearing what kind of decorative motif (or motifs) the art department is going to go for with regards to the bridges in town ... either for the Moguls or just because we needed a bridge there. I say this because the bridges that we saw in City of Heroes were either:

You could still do a blend of the Ye Olde and the Hypertech New, giving you a sense of a city that has HISTORY ...

Golden Gate Bridge 1.7 miles long, Alcatraz 1.5 miles offshore... If he could move it intact, it would work. But the whole thing would have to be moved, not just breaking off one end and pivoting it.

If you want a serious bridge, try the one in Millau (France). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Millau_Viaduct. The construction was awesome as they essentially rolled it out from both ends, so it had to meet in the middle and it did to within a few cm.

Okay we are not San Francisco! We not going to take other famous bridges! :P Our bridges will be our own :P just like our buildings are our own creations. Sure we may take some inspiration from real life buildings and architectural styles but that is the way most buildings and cities are built.

They have enough OFFICIAL CHARACTER DO NOT STEAL palette-shifted Saber Class to build a second one from, so it's fine.
I am really looking forward to seeing what everyone chooses to do for their moguls. My wife also really likes Red Belly Bob's fish market, and hopes there will be an exploration badge for the fish like there was for the donut in faultline in City of Heroes. She was trying to get me to go for an 24 hour diner for my mogul choice, but I ended up asking for a more traditional skyscraper. I think it will be interesting to see how many people ask for smaller structures.
If I submitted my Mogul survey and have not heard anything back yet, is that an indicator that everything is ok with it or should I be worried that something didn't go through correctly?
7thGate, There were almost 100 moguls and currently I have one artist working through them at as fast as he can and still give a lot of attention to the backer and the building. It's going to be a few months before we get to some of the moguls but we are most assuredly making our way down the list in the order that we received responses. :)
