Highpoint. The district of the middle class lifestyle and surprisingly good nightlife. Supervillains didn't seem so interested in this one, except for those super-powered street muggers who get their ass handed to them on a platter more often than not. People here always had money for their life necessities and did not have anything to complain about, life was good.
But rumors have spread throughout the whole city about a gang... The Gray Gang, originating in Highpoint. It's said their members are often super-powered, thus making the gang itself more feared than your standard gun-wielding gang. The only hint of a leader was spread as a rumor as well, it's said a mysterious man known only as Mr. Gray is the gang leader. A whole gang of supervillains would mean a lot of trouble and would be a tempting thing to investigate for superheroes.
The Gray Gang has already been tied to several murders involving super powers, or so the police thought, judging by the condition of the victim's corpse. The murders were tied to The Gray Gang, due to eye-witnesses claiming to have seen a man in a gray costume near the places of murder, but thinking it was just another superhero patrolling Highpoint.
It was midnight, when most of the city was asleep, but Highpoint had it's best parties at night, thus only most of the district was sleeping, but still a considerable amount was out enjoying themselves. Highpoint's bank was not often robbed, but tonight would be an exception... an african american man was approaching it, he would be considered normal, if not for his right arm. It was replaced by a thicker and longer robotic arm, indicating that he was a cyborg. Coming up to the closed bank he merely punched through the front entrance with his robotic arm. The alarm was triggered, but as the night guard drew his pistol he was shot with an electrical arc from the cyborg's robotic arm, leaving him wounded on the floor. The cyborg didn't worry about the police, by the time they will arrive he would already be gone with the money. The only thing that could stop him now were those god-damned capes... he hoped for the best that none were around.
