What I mean is a PvP arena where players face of 1v1 in a tournament until a final battle.
It would be cool to also add item,power,movement type, and other specifications to special gladiator arenas.

Yeah sounds good also you can add a glass dome take it so players not fighting can view from the sidelines
there needs to be one venue.
sure lots of various instances of this and that. BUT
their needs to be one venue. a big event. THE show.

we need agents. talent agents. they can get access to the main event. maybe even a seperate set of skills. or even superpowers related to it.
statues that can be replaced ingame in the stadium. maybe 24 statues, that are just enlarged frozen grey avatars. after 2 years, the statues start to disappear as the oldest are replaced by a new monthly champion.
maybe a very minor 1/2 hour television show on cable. on at a bad time. a interesting start.
make every pvper stop ganking noobs and crawl over each other to get to this game to have it out with each other.

If you really want to get people in, I was thinking it might be interesting to have a couple mission NPC's and maybe even a mission there as well.
It could be as simple as, say, a member of a Black Rose challenging you to fight him and his gang, or a part of something bigger. Maybe taking down an out of control pvp room hacked by the ePunk Radicals as a part of their storyline.
Ya know, another reason for people to stop by the PVP arenas - and a little more to do there.
