Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

Powers at launch

I'm very excited to see this game slowly coming together and having played controllers for years in COH I can't wait to see what powers we will have at launch and cannot wait to see how we will be able to. Crowd control mobs. I hope we get something similar to either earth or ice control but I guess I'll have to wait to see the list in the future

According to the kickstarter,

According to the kickstarter, we will most definitely have the powers mentioned in the stretch goals. Judging by the picture and examples, powers will include fire-bending, ice-bending, earth-bending, water-bending, light/energy-bending, and air-bending. CoX had all of those elements for control powersets except for Water Control and Energy control, assuming you don't count Illusion Control and Gravity Control as Light/Energy Control. (Wind Control was on its way, BTW)

They will likely start by also throwing in the original elements that CoX had and go from there, so Shadow Control, Plant Control, and Mind Control are on the express.

Hopefully they'll also throw in something else...

What we really should be

What we really should be looking into 3 years down the road is an Auto Parkour Travel power.
example video: http://youtu.be/S8b1zWOgOKA?t=1m11s

Quick Search: Found this game video that tries to do it sorta :/ but he uses a poor-mans superjump to combo.

Just press forward and it auto determines what moves to perform based on the terrain. And sometimes it might auto-determine which move to use so it can smoothly Combo into another move based on the 2nd obstacle in front.

Have you played DCUO? Their Acrobatics (I think it's called) is almost exactly that and very fun and well-designed IMO. So are their flight and Super Speed powers.

One of the few things I think DCUO really got right are their Movement Modes. Except that if you have Super Speed you HAVE to have a lightening effect on your body : /. And there's no Superjump.

FIGHT EVIL! (or go cause trouble so the Heroes have something to do.)

And no teleport, which made me very sad. I just hope teleport will be a bit better than before. A good example of what i would like is the one from CO. Controlled movement while phased out from the rest of the world.

Personaly I didn't like the way teleport worked in CO, but I can see how it others might, it would be relatively easier on the user end since you wouldn't have to rerender everything in the new location, but I don't like how it isn't an instantaneous jump. Targetting Teleport was a bit of a pain in CoH at times, but still.

Also found it sad that DCUO didn't include teleportation as a travel mechanism, but then again for them the 'holy trinity' of travel powers is where they tend to stick. I can't think of a hero from the DCU that has teleportation, plus I doubt the devs of DCUO had any ideas for how to expand it into a set of related powers like the others.

Also think it would be quite epic if we could have spines... >.> Just sayin'.
