Hope CR doesn't feel left out... ( I got those screens for Chloe, and she's definitely up soon... as for Perpetual Fist. Here is my second pass at him, decided to use a Jim Lee Batman for inspiration for the pose... but the final will be fully painted... and I get to apply this new digital painting class I just took to the face! Woot!!!

Thank you T and LG... been out of commission for 2 and 1/2 weeks due to a computer bug. First I thought one of my hard drives was failing, which was really disappointing as I had just bought a new one not long ago. I even uninstalled Marvel Heroes from it, which was 30 GB as I also had the Test Center version... but that did nothing to avail my start up problems. The system wasn't crashing either, so there was no problem with the new power supply.
The guys who fixed it for me last time at my local store, even had readjusted all my air flow, so dust was not the problem or overheating... In the end after taking it in, they did 3 days of testing and found it to be a faulty SATA cable. Which I would never have realized... so I've had it back for half a week, and it runs even better than before. Which allowed me to do the Masked Shrike piece. Still got to do some other warms up before I re-tackle CR's pieces, but I have a great concept for his witchy woman, Chloe... and that will be my 2nd finish once I get back to working on his Perpetual Fist character.
Anyway, that is my current status. Gotta work my rusty confidence back up... and then I will bang out the good stuff. :D

Danke T. Wish I could take the credit, it's a special metallic texture brush, based off of grid iron... but it makes that Captain America chain-mail effect rather nicely. I've been wanting to use it on someone, but don't always remember to think of it. It just seemed like it would be believable on this character...

I went with the animated cape that retracts and extracts as needed for effect... kind of like Spawn, and the cape used in Man of Steel, which was animated for the movie.

lol Vanir is a human race of people... I think with reddish or dark black hair. As supposed to Aesir who are mostly blonde, like Thor. Alfar are surface Elves... These are all " nordic " definitions... Though Conan author Robert E. Howard, used Vanir to describe northern vikings in his made up world of Hyboria.

Yup I usually work at 300 dpi which is large enough to print for posters.
You can bring that file to any Office Max or Staples on a USB thumb drive and get a decent print. ;)
