Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

WISH LIST 23: Time Travel

I think it's safe to say we all want time travel. The question is, "How do can it be done in a innovative, believable, high quality, never-been-done-before, industry changing, GLORIOUS way?". As always, I have an answer for you. Fully created versions of Titan City from different times. These wouldn't be simply different maps, but lovingly detailed visual documentaries on Titan Cities construction and evolution. I recommend four different map types:

1. Colonial Era Titan City. This version would have preserve some of the oldest streets and perhaps a few buildings. The new parts of the city would be farms. The few buildings from this era would have a placard in the current era showing their historic importance. These buildings would also change their purpose. An old barn in this era would become the Museum of the Past in the current era.

2. Heroic Era Titan City. This era is right in the middle of the Golden Age of comics. The skyline is starting to change. The buildings are beginning to rise, and the architects are starting to experiment. This era would have some old brick office buildings that exist in the current era that would be the tallest things in Heroic Titan, but are dwarfed by their contemporary neighbors in the Modern Era. Some of the NPC heroes from this era are noticeably younger and have Golden age costumes.

3. Future Titan City. Spider-man 2099, Batman Beyond, Blade Runner, Fifth Element, Beyond Human, and Judge Dredd are the inspiration for this sprawling, corrupt, polluted, holograph filled hive of human depravity. As the buildings from the Heroic Era are dwarfed by their Modern Era counter parts, the Modern Era tall buildings are forever shadowed by stretched spires. The color scheme is charcoal black with neon holographic highlights. The Museum of the Past is encased in a force field to protect it from the elements and has obvious recent structural supports. The Botanical Gardens is now fully domed to protect the plants from acid rain. Heroes from the Modern Era who have survived until now futuristic and world weary. The Phoenix Square statue has been broken, and the missing piece replaced with a clear resin.

4. Far Future Titan City. Star Trek, DC's 31st century, Star Wars's Coruscant, Mass Effect's Illium inspire this zone. The filth and depravity of Future Titan City have given way to high technology, empathy, and harmony. The color scheme has changed to bleached white buildings stretching upwards punctuated with gentle lights. Robotic drones gracefully float between buildings delivering goods. Flying cars are the norm of the day and fly in formations above. And above them there are people living in the clouds on anti-gravity platforms. The spires of the Future look crude and utilitarian compared to their graceful Far Future neighbors. Buildings form the Modern and Heroic era are not demolished, but incorporated into greater designs. Sometimes they may build a sky scraper around a particularly well liked building from the past. The Museum of the Past is now fully holographic, and has chrono telescopes that let people look directly into the past. Weather Control Machines assure that every day is beautiful and plants get the proper amount of water. The Botanical Gardens is now open to the sky again and has a wide assortment of genetically engineered and alien plants. The Phoenix Square was completely destroyed in the Incident, and replaced with a memorial park.

The most obvious use of this innovative system is for the Dev's to have a series of time travel missions that span these time periods. That would be wonderful, but the really interesting application is allowing players to use these eras as back drops for their own stories. Having consistent images of the past and future would have a sense of continuity that wouldn't exist if players had to create their own city every time they did a time travel story.

A more ambitious goal yet would be to allow players to play full time in one of these versions of Titan City. Let the possibilities of that hang in the air a moment.

It seems I end up giving a disclaimer after every post, so I'll do it now. I know this would be difficult. I am aware of how huge it would be. The specifics don't really matter. As always, this is a post meant to start a conversation on how to make the game better.

We had Time Travel in CoH

We had Time Travel in CoH with Cimerora and the Lord Recluse Strike Force. I don't see anything wrong with this request and I'm sure there will be some missions that will more than likely involve doing this.

I got chills! They're multiplyin'. And I'm losin' control. Cuz the power, I'm supplyin'. Why it's ELECTRIFYIN'!!

My only problem with time

My only problem with time travel is global causality violations.

OTOH, it makes for great stories, and like almost anything else that makes great stories, it's part of the superheroic genre.

The server crashes and burns as soon as the devs try to publish a time travel story?
