Some of the talk of City of Titans involve Superheroes arising about the time of World War II. With the Nazis using super powered beings, and the Allie Nations calling out to the those with powers to rise up and fight for freedom.

Yup, and then the devs killed off these brave heroes as a way of saying thanks. Seems to be getting popular nowadays.
I don't get mad, I restructure the laws of quantum physics and resolve the situation with temporal engineering.
Just because I'm a stickler for history: it would have been the Allied powers in WWII calling for supers to stand against the Nazis. Nazi Germany was part of the Axis.
Love the comic, though! :)

I knew that have no idea why I wrote Axis. Random mental jumble. Well I see if the EDIT feature works.

Robert Schroeck used the same basic idea for GURPS' "International Super Teams" supplement. The Nazis discovered the existence of metahumans first and immediately started using them as propaganda tools and shock troops. Their ideology made them confident that non-Aryans wouldn't produce such individuals; the Allies gave them an unpleasant surprise.
You say nice things about me: I admire that in a person.
It seems to be a common idea. Mainly due to the whole comic book superhero came about that time as well.

I think we need hero for the game like statesman for coh or high elf girl from eq. Just saying, love its a captain American kind hero,
Tiny bot of def
That would be what we're calling a 'Flagship' hero, I think? There are several threads where we are arguing about the proposed hero-prime named 'Anthem'. http://cityoftitans.com/forum/biography-challenge-anthem
