ALX got the data he needed and headed back the the bar. There was still logic error in the earlier recording and what happened later when Shepherd showed up. It was a flaw in machine thinking. Computers are Beta thinkers things are On or Off, Yes or No. Newer systems can compensate for this giving rise to the self awareness level of complexity, but still the basic understanding of the system is still the 0,1 system. He would need a human to go over the recordings. "Flaw in basic nature must be corrected." he says to himself as he starts making up the next set of drinks a server requested.
