Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

Writing

Is there any position that involves writing I could fill?

There are many games, but this is the best

Alas, I don't think they want

Alas, I don't think they want anymore artistic volunteers. Trust me I've already tried for writing and concept as have many others on this forum. I hope you have better luck than the rest of us. Worst comes to worst: just submit your stories on the forum, that is my plan. Maybe one will catch a dev's eye.

It's hard to tell anything

It's hard to tell anything right now. They're still filling out what passes for an org chart, and until they have all the management-level people in place in the various departments, and they've worked out their goals, it's hard for them to know how many more people they'll need. And yes, you can bring too many people into a project.

Has anyone seen my mind? It was right here...

If you really want to try for

If you really want to try for a writing job. Then show what you can do write out a whole story arc with branching dialog give a demonstration. Like Lin said concept and ideas got filled kind of fast I was in the project at the start, but drew out for better writers to take over. I can hammer out ideas easy it's writing coherently that's my problem.

So for anyone at this stage that want to get on board show what you can do. That's every one no matter what your skill is the best way to get notice is to show off what you can do.

And at this point, the lore isn't set too solidly, so write what you feel like. It doesn't have to be perfectly ready to drop in; things are fluid, so it would almost certainly be adapted as necessary later. (Of course, make sure you've turned in your IP release so you don't create a situation where the devs have to go out of their way to avoid doing anything that looks like it uses your work because the rights are unclear.)

You had PlanetTR, and I had my forums.... patience was a virtue... although with a certain person (I think you remember her), she decided to bitch about a PlanetTR forum mod over on MY forums, where she then got promptly modded into oblivion ;)

You had a lot more work than I did.

Nope, don't remember her at all. Just some guys who wouldn't shut up about how everything about TR sucked, devs were lying (which in the case of NCSoft turned out to be true), etc etc, and Earthrise was going to be so much better because it was developed by Eastern Europeans who knew what the hell they were doing, and was going to be launched next year (2010) or so, and then We Would All See What A Real Game Was Like or something.

Good times.

P.S. Sorry our problems leaked onto your forums...

Oh dont worry about the problems leaking over onto my set of forums, it made it fun at the time (although to be fair, I was not working at the time, and so I had a lot of spare time on my hands with TR and the forums filled me up with).

Twas good times back then. Also helped by the fact that I had a good set of users as well, who kept me up to date with stuff.
