Well, if I am accepted on the art team to do the comic, I would draw a year of comics in advance. It would allow a buffer just in case of emergencies, art the MWM could use for marketing promotions, web design, and loading screens, and could be leveraged with a publisher like Image to distribute a physical book to comic shops with no out of pocket expenses. Also the book could be used as an additional review stream and marketing for the game or any investors like NVIDIA, Alien Ware, or any other such gaming corporation who decides to back the project.
Be nice to have an opening game introduction tutorial in comic book form...

The third panel is a bit confusing to me visually though. The man outside appears to have a wavy elliptical disc over his head with a security camera perched on one end of it. Perhaps adjust it's position or darken it a bit to push it into the background a bit more (if that is your intent).

[color=#c95f02][b][size=15][font=Palatino Linotype]Also I might be completely wrong about this (I haven't read a lot of comics) but the small box in the lower right of a larger panel showing the same screen but closer to me usually is for zooming in to show more detail but it appears that time has passed since there is something different on the screen. If time has passed shouldn't it be in the next panel?
In other words I see it as the two news anchors are talking (probably about the copious amounts of rain) in the large piece and then one says something like "...and we take you now to live footage of the subway flooding in progress" and then the smaller box "happens."

In my second look, tigs..... toneing down the reflectivness of the window may or may not help the clarity (for whatever reason my brain couldn't deside if I was inside or outside the room with the TVs)
also, I noticed the TV thing that chris noticed, but I'm not sure I agree.... it didn't "confuse" me... but it might be wasted real estate (and removing the subway mini-panel might make the whole cell have a little better cohesion (yay, more work! *high fives all around*))

Thanks for dropping by, today was a slow day for me, it was a rainy day and my old bones don't like it although I found the rain and thunder inspiring. I'm still hammering out the process and trying to find a balance between traditional pencils, digital painting and photo manipulation to create as immersive of an environment as I can on a monthly basis, and to also highlight the future game's graphics. Or that's the plan...hopefully I can pull it off and merge comic-game-movie into one visual brand.
(Yeah, I said movie, I think Hollywood needs some good hero movies outside of DC & Marvel. *shrug* I can dream.)
If you didn't send Dr. Who to pick that up for you, then I've got a funny story to tell you.

I'm trying to think of how Winter's Child might respond to that storm-system...
Would she be excited? Would she be a little frightened? Would she be peeved? Would she see it as a terrible thing, a glorious thing, a stupid thing? Would she be tempted, terribly tempted, to jump in, ride it, and make it go faster and bigger? Would she decide it was already too strong to let it continue? Would she consider it 'alive' in some way, or would she just see it as another dirty chore?
She would not forget her mission. She would not forget her purpose, to defend the City and the people that live there. She would not abandon her teammates. These things I do know. She would be... angered, that a villain would try to use it for his own purposes.
And I have a strong sense that this is going to be Awesome!

she's powerful, driven (to the point of being kinda creepy), and dedicated to stopping the storm to the point of dying to stop it.

Unfortunately it doesn't look like there are any art positions open or anything about a comic. That's very unfortunate I was looking forward to being a member of the team. *sigh* Oh well I'll finish up the comic and move on to my next project.

Thanks, Foradain, EbonJustice, GhostHack, and duane. I managed to get a few hours in to do the flats, and some rendering, on the characters. There will be more to follow.
