red went for the most disadvantaged cape currently in the battle =P
and instead of attacking the cape... decided to play a rather twisted morality game.
let the building drop and stop the deaths of those the red decides to kill... but maybe kill those still inside
or
keep the building up knowing that the red is letting ...most... of the people leave.

Is Kartanian the character you were going to bring into Psychopomp & Circumstance? I know he was the one disguised as the driver, but would he be the one to go to work for them?
In Sam's timeline, he's (hopefully) been working for P&C between a month and three months. I think we can agree that Sam's powers are fairly unique in appearance, so If Kart has worked with Sam for several months, he might have recognized Whipcrack just by his powers alone.
That may give Kart a way to get back in contact with them, if he is so inclined.

Yes, Kartanian was disguised as the driver in PnC and would recognize Whipcrack.
I have not posted in PnC again, waiting for things to progress past the Brady's Gym scene, but yes, he would be involved with them in some way. Being himself takes too much time to be a full-time employee of PnC, but most likely he will have Shreddle or some other CK agent on the PnC payroll.

And I think that you ignored (whether by choice or accident, I don't know) the fact that my last post stated that Liberty Girl was still standing there in front of the rubble, looking for Red. If Red had not emerged within a few minutes, Liberty Girl would have started tearing apart the pile until she found Red, dead or alive.
But that is neither here nor there as we have already advanced the story. :-)

The Red is a bit like Carnage in power set, but permanently (in story terms) part of its host.... and Mihaela has a very vampire the masquerade inspired feel with almost all points dedicated to regeneration...so very wolverine like in impossible recovery. So the two take pleasure in messing each others day up pretty seriously... Instead of dodging Mihaela made sure to get hit with the boulder =P....... and The Red is currently letting her feel every swing of her dislocated knee.
The Red is the actual psychopath... Mihaela isnt 'good' but she isnt exactly evil... mostly out for herself and she hates The Red... a lot of her motivation is trying to keep The Red from becoming interested in something... and if that fails just pissing it off.
The only time they work together is if Mihaelas life is threatened... which takes a lot given their combined survivability, or Mihaela has been starved out, which takes awhile depending on how many abilities she utilizes.
Until that point the characters offense is rather B rank compared to its AAA survivability.

I'll admit, I'm stymied at this point as to what to do with Mihaela. Liberty Girl is intelligent, but her primary focuses as a superhero are combat and emergency rescue. She's a little out of her depth at the moment.

Mihaela runs Savage Melee, Dark Armor, Body Mastery
in RP terms I just flipped her dark armor toggles.... so im assuming Liberty isn't going to want to stay in proximity to The Red for very long.
This characters weakness is Mech based supers and/or ranged. Its specialty is hand to hand assured mutual destruction. it WANTS you to touch it... get angry and try to break its face.

Liberty Girl was Invulnerability, Super Strength, and Body Mastery. She could and would have held onto Mihaela for longer if it hadn't been for the warning. Still, Kart was able to get his attack in, so we'll have to see what that does.

Anywho, Liberty Girl is "out of action" for the next 40-60 minutes, so I think that would be enough time for the two halves of the story line to catch back up with one another.
I don't know how powerful you've decided to make the Iron Huntress, but Liberty Girl could probably handle the direct strength approach. But then her strength level is kind of nebulous. I'm a DC Comics junkie. So, my idea of vast superhuman strength is 1000+ tons. From what I've seen of character power levels in Marvel Comics, they seems to set their bar a lot lower, with the exception of Thor and the Hulk family.
Keeping the building from falling was more pitting her invulnerability against the weight of the building than lifting it.

Due to the holidays and the inherently hectic schedules they spawn, Gladatoria and I have decided to put Iron Siege on hold until January. At that time, we will be looking forward to a resurgence of interest and participation.
