As I said at the start of the Date Night thread, this RP is for myself and Gladatoria, so please relegate all comments to this thread. Thank you in advance for respecting our wishes.

Ok, honest opinions.
Was that conversation between Joey and his boss trite or did I do okay with it?

I have a simple request for anyone who's willing to help out in Date Night.
Creating villains is not my forte, so I'm reaching out to the RP community here. As I said, the request is simple. I need a mobster boss. One who's part of The Black Rose.
If you are willing to help us out, what I'd like to see is a name, a physical description, a short background, and permission to use them in Date Night.
I'd like them to be super-powered, holding to what we know of The Black Rose lore. So their powers would most likely stem from cybernetics, tech, or pharmacology.
Please submit your bosses in this thread.
For extra credit, you can create a few members of his crew.
All I can offer in return is my undying appreciation.
Thanks in advance.
P.S. I don't know who all is reading this RP, so I'm also sending this as a PM to several people.

And the conversation was fine Xel, looks like Sarah has made some enemies! :)

It sounded colorful. I have no idea if it was in any way reflective of actual speech, but it gets the point across just fine. :D

X -- the Joey & boss conversation -- pretty much what Tomo said. To elaborate, just from my own point of view: I assume you were shooting for a campy, pulpy, 20s-era 'gangsta' vibe -- if so, you hit that. If you wanted realism, not so much. I guess one thing that sticks out a little to me is the jargon. I'm not really all that up on my 'gansterisms,' but it seems a bit anachronistic, to me. The verbiage might stand a little updating, if you want to reflect more modern-day, 2013 gangsters.
Then again, I really don't know anything about the new villain groups, so I don't know how a Black Rose would act/speak. Maybe they're into the whole early 20th century feel and would use such posturings in modern-day iPhone conversations. That's the main thing that kind of struck me as a little off about it though -- the sense of 'era.'
(Of course, accurately-depicted current-day thugs would likely be 'F-bombing' every few seconds, so maybe it's good to avoid TOO much modern-day realism.)
*snicker* Nice! I love the way Silvio ended up in Hardlock. Nice touch!

*shrugs* I have my moments.

I don't know if you intend to end it there, with today's post, but you could end the "chapter" or story right there at, "...closing the door gently behind him." Perfect! Bravo!
Sweet, touching, action-filled, adds to the characters' stories nicely... Fun to read! Please collaborate more on future stuff, too!

Aw shucks, K. Yer gonna make me blush.
But yes, that was the ending of Date Night, pretty much. Right now we're discussing if Lady Nova's oncoming nemesis should make a cameo appearance as the last post in the thread.

And with the reveal of Lady Nova's nemesis, Iron Huntress, we draw Date Night to a close. Thank you for your readership, ladies and gentlemen. We hope that you all found it to be an entertaining read.
