Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

I would bet so. My vote is to have "natural" clawed hands at least as an option. And among the types of blades available for claws, please do NOT have a set that's essentially a clone of Wolverine's. Never understood why that set was not removed, especially after the lawsuit.

Another vote for natural claws here. Did not particularly care for those metal claws popping out of the clawed hand already a part of the costume.

Because Wolverine is defined by more than "three claws coming out the back of a hand". There are several examples of extendable cybernetic or biological hand-blades in in other media, from animation to movies to role-playing games.

I would like to be able to

I would like to be able to pick what type of "claws" i was using as well as a skin for them. So If I made a beast toon then I should be able to maybe just give a costume piece for the hands that show beast claws and then select none for the actual claw weapon. Or select so that when I attack my nails grow out a bit Or be able to pick claws like wolvy uses. And be able to change the look of those, bone, metal, laser, what ever. Glitter.

I will say though that I had horrible luck with claws back in CoH. All I ever did was miss. ALWAYS. >.

I happened to like the single

I happened to like the single shortsword style blade that came out from what looked like the top of the wrist, and when teamed with the Justice lower armed shield it almost looked like it's blade housing. I had regeneration on Battler to start with as his superpower, and his claws were actually equipment, not a power as such. in addition, when Willpower came out that powerset fitted more in my concept of my character.

Having lots of customisation on them would be good, but there will always be people who want the triple blade effect.

- ...what I thought was awful by way of implementation was bestial fury. I didn't see any reasoning behind it...aside from the differences in animation, which looked alright - what was 'bestial fury' but a character with claws? If they simply upgraded claws graphics, or gave the claw power set and option of graphics like they did with Super Strength, the there wouldn't be a need for an entirely new power set. I think this was discussed in another thread where animations were considered more important than power sets...that way we can have radiation melee and energy melee and not have to worry about making a radically different power set (...aside from particle graphics and alternate animation sequences...). The special effects of the powers would be an inherent theme though out the entire power set...psionic melee/psionic blade(s) could easily have been replicated with claw power set or dual blades (...or katana/broadsword)...) graphic emulations and animations - having, instead of flat blades, a weird glowing blade(s) extending from the hands.

Will there be Claws? - most probably yes.
Will be be available on release? I dont think anyone knows that just yet.

We are all so excited the game met is KS target that we all want it NAOW!!!!!! 2 years is a long time to wait and it will take them some time to work all of this out.

Ideally, I'd love to see some natural hand-claws going on. My main, DK, had one form that should use those, but her other half didn't have that ability and instead used the Talsorian Blades (those cool light ones from Vanguard). So, picking from a varied set of options would really make my day. <3

If you have ICON you can see "Savage Melee" in action. The animations are done but the FX are place holders. There's also "Psychic Melee", with animations and FX; albeit, slightly glitchy.

Instead of calling them "claws" calling them "Fist-Blades" "punch-blades" or "Katar" would be more accurate for a blade coming off of a fist, like the classic Wolverine, and using those coming out of fingers to be "claws".

In your powers system could "Fist blades" be considered:

1) a powers framework
2) an "animation set" (interchangable for powers frameworks)
3) Made of Psychic or Fire damage (if #2 is true can i use them for fire melee or psychic melee)
4) usable for ranged damage (if #2 is true will the animation sets be gated for melee/physical or can i say shoot fire from my claws or shoot electricity from my claws)
5) a costume choice independent of a powers
6) If #5 is true can I use the claws set (powers OR animation) and still have separate claws on my costume.

I know that much of this has not been clarified and for good reason but if you can expand on any of the above questions it'll help me greatly in understanding the structure that you wish to pursue in City of Titans.

Hypothetically how many animation sets would be available per character? Could u use a staff and psi blades and head animations and a gun?
