Well look who is putting their project's release date right after City of Titans, stealing their thunder.
The nerve of some people!

Same I cannot make it to the open casting either (And although I am in the same country, I don't fit the demographics...)
Well if the prequel trilogy taught us anything, it's to wait and see what the word of mouth is before paying for another Star Wars movie.

(ETA: To be fair, they've got the writer for Empire, and that's a gleam of hope. But in movie production, the writer has less clout than the craft services guys; the director has the final say. So if Abrams wants to put in something akin to "midichlorians," well, they're in.)

Just as a hypothetical let's say the next Star Wars movie was set to open on the exact same day that CoT was due to launch. Even with the joy of getting to see the original cast (i.e. Mark Hamill) on the big screen again I think I'd probably stay home to play CoT and wait to see the movie a few days later.
Frankly despite how much money they made I also think Abrams semi-bungled the new Star Trek movies so his punishment from me will be that he won't get my opening day money for Star Wars. Besides with all the bad rumors of having to push the opening day back who's to say Abrams won't fumble Star Wars as well?

I spent an entire Double XP Weekend doing nothing more than building decorations in my SG Base once so as to create an incredible room space (it was hard work floating objects in those days). I would have absolutely NO PROBLEM skipping a Star Wars Movie to play City of Titans for a weekend/week before bothering to decide if I wanted to take time off from playing a game to go watch a movie.

*shrugs* Am not bothered. Even if the *film of my dreams* was released around the time of CoT launch, I still won't go to see it.
I have extra circumstances that limit me as to how easily I can go to the cinema.
The more pressing question, though, is if you can take time off of these forums to go watch Thor tomorrow.

Meh. New Star Wars movies do not interest me.
I'm pretty excited at the thought of potentially getting three more movies worth of 'Darths & Droids', though.

When we have a firm CoT release date I'm taking vacation...period.
I remember when Star Wars was cool...a long, long time ago...

Oh yes. i have far more interest in that than another JJ Abrams movie despite City of Titans most likely having a paucity of lens flares.
In theory there's no difference between theory and practice, but in practice there is.
On the CoH forums at the end i went by the name Schismatrix.
Post hoc ergo propter hoc.
What are you talking about? What new Star Wars movie?
Oh.. you mean that dream people have of Star Wars movies that don't make us go "..god, Why did they stop at 3?"
See, us Highlander fans scrutinize any sequels/Prequels when the original material wrapped up everything nice and neat so that there were no questions.

Which brings up a horrible thought i had the other day.... will light sabers have lens flares constantly going off? Is that the real reason Jedi depend on the Force, because they are too blinded by lens flares to see their targets?
What, you thought the Sith wore those cowls just to appear dastardly and mysterious? Please!
