Hey. It turned out that between bills, bills, a surprisingly busy social life, bills and an unexpected weekend in Norway, I was pretty much strapped for cash throughout the month of October. The sad thing is that my pay's finally come through and I've at last got the money I wanted to donate to TPP [i]today[/i], just after the Kickstarter ended.
I'm really bummed, not gonna lie -- not least because I'm going to be missing out on those Kickstarter goodies, but also because I really wanted to be able to support this project financially. I don't suppose there'll be similar fundraising opportunities in the future?
tl;dr can you guys still shut up and take our money? :P

I think the Rednames have made it fairly clear they are going to be open for some kind of post-KS donations. They haven't given us many details yet but I suspect it'll allow for many things that were similar to what the KS provided. They'll likely not offer up any of the "KS exclusive" stuff, but there were plenty of other things they could provide along those lines. Good luck!

I really hope so as well, through a comedic series of events (identity theft) I was completely lacking funds for this during the kickstarter period. Really wanted to chip in, but things like rent do come first when a majority of your savings are 'pending' due to the lovely banking system!
I donated to the Kickstarter event, but I definitely agree with the sentiments expressed in this thread. Even if it were just a simple donate button with a link for paypal or some other payment system, it would encourage more people that found out about this project after the fact, didn't have the money at the time, or just wanted to contribute a little more. Whether the people in charge wanted to have a reward system like Kickstarter or not, these extra funds would go a long way to helping this project be realized.
