Sanctum Sanctorum, the $10,000 tier, was bought (I think it was today, but I might have missed it happening in the last day or two).
Way to go, whoever you are! I assume we'll find out in a blaze of publicity around launch time.

According to my kickstarter page, there is still only the one.
Yeah, I was sure I saw it last night...shoulda taken a screenshot, I guess. I could have been mistaken, or maybe they only allowed one as the description says and had to talk the person into something else. Hope they didn't turn down $10,000 though. :P

The 10K tier is not limited in quantity (at least according to the kickstarter page).
For what it's worth, yesterday I also a 2 backers listed for the $10k tier.

Personally, as much as the party appeals to me, if I had 10k I'd get the $7500.00 level and TONS of add-ons. I want the game to do well but $2500.00 for a party for me includes stuff better off not listed in a public forum...
I remember when Star Wars was cool...a long, long time ago...
I think if I had a full $10k to pledge on this game I would've figured out a way (probably through multiple accounts) to have gotten multiple Registered Lethal Weapon and/or Double Trouble pledges and ask that most (if not) all of them be set to be openly available on the day of launch so that my money spent would have had the most long lasting positive effect for the players of the game.
Of course that's just what I'd do - I realize that some people absolutely live for those special one-time "meet-n-greet" events so I have no problem with that being a pledge option for this game as well. Ultimately their $10k spent on that is going to benefit the game I'm going to play so more power to them if that's what they want.

Nearly 14 years ago now, I was DoubleTrouble with The Amazon Basin community playing Diablo II. I wrote the first widely disseminated (and followed) Speedazon Guide, which upended the Bowazon Community and started a counter-revolution against the Barbazon Invasion. If you dig hard enough through Google, you can even see hints of that through references to the keyword "Speedazon" ... like this one ...
Ah ... those were the days ...
Of course, that means whenever I see the phrase "Double Trouble" I immediately think it's referring to me.

I figured you were the same sailboat. I presume you finally escaped from the USN then?

Just hope that the 10k pledger has that money in the bank, I read someone's article(Pathfinder Online I think) about Kickstarter and they said that of the 3% or so of pledges not to go through they were disproportionately from the highest tiers.
I'm going to wager (not much, I'm fairly broke) that's not going to happen here ...

Bloody well better not happen..... Imma hafta pull on my super tights and go thug bumping if it does.
Good show, for whoever could afford that. (Yikes, no way I could...)
I am glad the Kickstarter is going so well. Very excited about things.
What are the chances that people would make bogus pledges? I never even thought of that or that it might happen until I read this thread... I'm going to choose to believe someone wouldn't stoop that low for this kickstarter project but I know it's a possibility..I guess. *closes her eyes and crosses her fingers wishing really hard that all pledges are legit
I wish I could recall the blog I mentioned so I could link it, but the understanding was that people thought they were helping either by getting the project more attention or by making it reach stretch goals by making big pledges they knew they were not going to be able to afford. I'm sure it's far from universal or even anything like the majority but it helps explain why people pledging $50 were less likely to not make it, it would just be a banking error or something on their part while I suppose if you're going to make a pledge to 'help' that you're not going to make good on it may as well be big.
They CoX community is pretty great I'm sure the whatever shrinkage they get will be minimal :)
