Currently I do not believe there are any plans to continue funding post kickstarter.

There will be post-KS fundraising. But not through KS. There are a lot of people who couldn't participate in the KS because of timing issues or because Amazon Payments wouldn't accept their form of payment.

New funding efforts will be much more low key and ongoing. But to answer a question already asked, we won't be letting post-KS donations be added to the KS backing to increase their KS reward tier. That would violate the spirit of KS and become an accounting nightmare.

But we *could* re-offer KS rewards (except the permanent or temporarily exclusive ones) or come up with new ones.

Not allowing post-KS donations would be a self-inflicted wound if someone who didn't have disposable income during the KS and then had it afterwards decided to give us a generous donation. We don't want to turn that down by saying, "Aww, too late, you missed KS!"

Agreed. There are lots of post-KS ways to earn revenue as Zombie said. Lots of us would buy swag but they don't want the headache of having to design it just yet and it would be unethical to offer it if it were not available. I imagine after the KS dust settles and the holidays are over (Devs are people too...) then we'll see some new stuff come down the pipeline. I for one would pay the artists for pics of my fave toons even if they weren't going to necessarily going to be do-able right away.

I imagine one reason for finishing the CC early is to hook the unbelievers. A good CC they can play with soon might encourage others to stay tuned or even contribute/pre-order.

Let's say I can give 500 now. Would I be able to up my donation level later to get the higher benefit?

Only if you up it before the KS ends. You can't add on after the KS ends for a higher KS reward. Sorry. :(

Pretty much all of this.. I was going for Fly Free but sadly the last month has been a Nightmare (..heh) financially and I'm worried if I'll be able to pledge at all now before the starter ends.

Being able to give money AFTER the KS would be a huge boost and I plan on doing so (whether you like it or not! THE NIGHTMARE SHALL NOT BE DENIED!) and doubly so if many of the perks from KS (save for the KS exclusive ones of which I know only 3 are). Would love to be able to make the Night Industries building at some point down the line, though if it never comes to being able to afford that, the simple ones from Home Sweet Home would be just fine.

I hope that some form of financing comes later also. I didnt realize or remember about the kickstarter until today. I am glad you guys met your goals.

I hope this project does well. No game has captured my interest much since COH, and all my COH friends have spread out to other games so we rarely chat.
