I have run some calculations and if everyone pledging under $100 triples their pledge, and everyone from $100-250 doubles their pledge, we can easily hit 700K or higher! So I think we should be aiming to hit the 600K goal, and the 750K one as well.
We can note these tremendous efforts as well as inspire more by asking all who participate to alter their Kickstarter names to reflect their enthusiastic support: for those who has tripled or double their support, encourage them to add the word "Elite" to their name, and for those who pledge more than $500, they can add the word "Paragon" to their name. (Names are easy to change under Profile settings.)
This way we can acknowledge those who are digging deeper while we hopefully inspire more to do the same!
Here is the text I am currently using to promote this campaign:
"Haloo fellow dreamers!
The two new stretch goals of “More Power” and “2x Boom” (at 600K and 750K) are SUPER tantalizing – and we can get them! If people who pledged under $100 triple their pledge, and people who pledged from $100-250 double their pledge, we CAN hit that goal!

That's a nice thought for those who can afford it but, for my part, the one thing I'd love to see triple is the number of backers.

But I also agree that in addition to those of us digging deeper who may not have yet given as much as you have (including me, I just doubled my pledge), I think this will need to be a two-pronged push - to have those of us at the lower levels dig a little deeper while the second prong if continuing to go after more backers!
Still thinking about how best to accomplish that, apart from having everyone do the obvious like doing social media blasts on their facebook/twitter/etc once a day every day, etc.
Ideas welcome - but let's turn over every stone to get to 600K/750K - because if we want ti badly enough, I truly think we can achieve it! :)

I'd rather see people post on other internet areas pushing for more contributors, not stretching their wallet so they can be part of the elite in the current group of contributors.

Yeah donate what you can/want/feel comfortable with.... but personally no matter how much I donate I don't really carry around extra titles. My piggy bank doesn't denote who I am on the forums, or in game.

I wouldn't be surprised if there are still a fair number of people sitting on the sidelines, deciding whether or not to jump in. Hopefully, as more information comes out in these updates, that will happen.
I like the updates so far - quite a bit - so I am really working to try to get us to some good stretch goals. IF a lot of us feel the same, I think we will get at least the 600K, if not the 750K.
I just recovered my FB access, and am starting to post about CoT there too.
I may be able to pad my contribution at the last minute because it's after the 1st (good move there btw Devs) but as Darth said, no way I can triple or even double it.
What we REALLY need if for contributors who had RL friends and family who played CoH to get back on the bandwagon and help out. This will help ensure a better player-base at launch as well.
Believe me, if I had recently won the lottery, I'd tell MWM to add three more tiers to their 2 million stretch goal and chunk down 5 million just to make SURE everything launched on time!
