Any chance of having some social locations actually set up for contests. Can go into a designated building. Find a giant stage that can hold a ton of contestants and lots of banners and signs and decorations and such. A place for judges to stand. Place for a host to stand. Little floating camera that projects a live feed up on a screen/s in the room. Lights. Squares that contestants stand on have a number or letter or both. OR maybe you go into the building and it takes you to a social instance of a roof top with all that stuff set up. Maybe it takes you underwater to an underwater dome with stage and such. And the areas have their own Zone channel so that everyone in the room can hear the host and the local channel has a longer range in that area so everyone can hear the local chat. (in CO unless you are on stage you can't hear the local chat)
