As someone who also lost family members to cancer. I hope the family of Red Warlock get quality grief counseling, it really does help

MWM has said they will be making a memorial. My first instinct would be to make something public and obviously memorial-like. But then, I got to thinking about the city and all the nooks and crannies that Red Warlock put in it.
Do you remember the Easter Egg exploration marker in Faultline in City of Heroes? It was a hidden room under a set of stairs and behind some crates. In the room was an homage to the development team. It was as such a difficult to find Easter egg that of course it was infamously famous and one of the most well-known badges.
I think it might be super cool if a memorial to Nathan (a.k.a. Red Warlock) was a similar hidden gem, so hidden that it becomes infamous for its secrecy and ironically well-known. I think that would be nice and personal and intimate.
(13NOV2024 EDIT) It would be cool to see someone making a scale model of the city. Perhaps a young child named Nathan doing so with Legos, or an older gent with a model railroad, or a villain in a red Warlock costume plotting to conquer it, or whatever might be most appropriate to the real person.
[hr]I like to take your ideas and supersize them. This isn't criticism, it is flattery. I come with nothing but good will and a spirit of team-building. If you take what I write any other way, that is probably just because I wasn't very clear.
It's been a while since I checked in, that is really sad news. I remember him as just a fellow forum member many years ago talking about how he was learning how to design in Blender(iirc). Then talking about taking classes, then showing designs to then becoming a volunteer dev. He had quite the tenacity and hunger for learning. As huckleberry mentioned, I also hope he will get some type of immortalization in the game to express the impact he has made on the game. A big statue somewhere would be pretty cool.
