Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

What's available in-game?

Hello, all!

Geocacher here, and I've just downloaded and created my first toons. (Somewhere I missed the announcement that you could get into the CoT world)

JUST to make sure I'm not doing anything wrong, is the playable area free of enemies and other players? I've yet to see anything other than non-interacting NPCs. Also, I have no HUD, and no chat. Is this the norm at the moment?

If I'm doing something wrong, please let me know. Thanks in advance!

Yeah, at the moment the only thing you can do is mess around with the character creator and see how they would look in motion on a simple island.

What we have right now is a very small glimpse of a few aspects of the game. A fraction of a fraction of a game. Make a few characters, mess around with the materials, etc. And maybe come back if they add new outfits for us to try out.

You should watch the latest

You should watch the latest youtube video, should be linked at the top. It shows the next map coming to the avatar builder that will replace the island as well as discusses some new features coming. When? Who knows...but they say soon. Whenever that drops it should have a basic form of combat...not sure if that includes missions or just test dummies or enemies that can fight back or if you can die or not. Lots of unknowns but stuff is coming.

One clarification on this mostly accurate assessment. We are working feverishly to get Alexandria into players hands very soon, but it will not have combat on that first introduction. We are getting the character creator working with Alexandria working on Macintosh (it already works on Windows), and when all of that is complete, that is planned to be released first. Shortly thereafter, combat is planned to be added to Alexandria. Combat is built, but what we are doing that is taking some additional work is integrating three different parts of the project that have had a lot of work done independently into one project that is available to players. We could wait until combat is added, but we think it makes sense to get the Alexandria piece out to people first, then soon afterwards we will follow-up with combat. And the combat is planned to be with AI opponents, not test dummies. And no missions yet only because of the server cost. Later, when we decide it's time to run more server capability, we can look at things like chat, instanced missions and interiors of buildings, all which we have working but would need to pay for servers.

One more thing, the environment we plan to share with players is actually the world environment for the game, but with the architectural assets of the Alexandria District being the only architecture added for now. We are considering allowing players to explore the open land outside of Alexandria to see some of the larger environment and get an idea of how big the world will be. (We are still determining if that's a workable idea).

We plan to continue adding architecture to the environment after we successfully get Alexandria working and combat working there. So we have Old Bradford, Downtown and Victory Beach completely built and ready for the tech team to prepare for making any needed fixes on those districts before adding them to the player test environment in the following months.
