Vampire hero name brainstorming

The character is an English man born in 1890, his older brother is a baron, and he basically has Dracula-powers. His backstory is that he was a british spy during WWI, and encountered Dracula in Austro-Hungary. He's turned into a vampire by Dracula, kills Dracula, and eventually gets back to his commanders and reports his powers. Most of his activities as a vampire were during WWII.

I thought about something that'd sound like a military code name (ie. not too revealing), but sounds good and makes sense.

Military Code Name: Penumbra

Military Code Name: Penumbra

Sounds appropriately British misdirectory while still being a bit of an inside joke for those in the know.
It sounds spooky and atypical, when it's actually a perfectly ordinary thing (the casting of shadows without a total eclipse).

Which 'Dracula'? The warlord, Vad Tepes? Mary Shelley's Dracula? Nosferatu? Or some other version of 'Dracula'?

The Dracula from the Bram Stoker novel. I've read the book and taken notes of his powers and appearance. Also as far as i know, Mary Shelley did not write Dracula.

Ugh! You're quite right, I'm sorry. Ms. Shelley wrote about the mad Doctor and his flesh-golem. Bram Stoker wrote about the dead-guy that didn't drink, wine.

The English rules of

The English rules of entrenched inequality suggests the litters of barons might be called "The Honourable". At least back when the character's father owned the baron title. Now that younger brother deals in blood he could become "The Donorable."

As I understand it, according to Bram Stoker's 'Dracula', when you kill the vampire progenitor, it releases those made under them from the curse. So, per your background, you would no longer be a vampire by killing Dracula.

That notwithstanding:
Baron Briton
Union Black
Vlad Tea-pes
Cardinal Sin-glish
Bossferatu

If he was Hungarian, I would suggest Hungry Hungry Hungarian but alas, he's not.

Right, it follows the 'bloodline'.
Of course, that would also depend on how you define the whatever it is that keeps the corpse moving. Is it some sort of demonic force? Is it a kinky bloodborne disease? How do you 'catch' it and why? Some fancy excuse for necrophilia?

I'll stick to my 'light-side' heroes.

Now, if you wanted to create a hero with 'vampire-like' powers, which you Enumerated, rather than just 'Oh, he is a Dracula', and if his backstory specified how he acquired the 'curse' of his powers, then he might be 'The Darkwalker' or 'The Tomb Raider'.or 'The Cursed Crusader'.

Then you might want to decide, for sure, if the character is a 'hero' or a 'villain' or a 'victim' and how much blood it will cost.

I actually like Bloodline. Considering the British armed forces of the day had a red line on their trousers they called a "Blood Stripe" I think it might be fitting that a British soldier who was a vampire might take a cue off that and call himself something like Bloodline.
I like to take your ideas and supersize them. This isn't criticism, it is flattery. I come with nothing but good will and a spirit of team-building. If you take what I write any other way, that is probably just because I wasn't very clear.

Bloodline is a pretty solid name.

"Count Von Count" reminds me of a vampire name I use in Champions Online. I have a character there named Amadeus Von Vampire.
