I apologize if this is discussed elsewhere. I did not see a clearly labeled search function for the forums. I have a 1GB download connection and have, at most, one other device using bandwidth. Yet, I can not get anything faster than 250-300kb/s. It's been running all day and I've downloaded 16%. I've restarted it. I've ran speed tests to check network. Any help would be appreciated.

Patcher download speed is abyssmal.
The download speed isn't a reflection of your connection, just the limited server capabilities that are hosting the download at the moment. My advice would just be to let it run in the background while you do other things for a while.
Also, the search function is the magnifying glass at the top right of the page.

I'll second Pearly's comment. Your connection is not the issue. The server and data connection that MWM has available to them is very limited. It's good that you are downloading now, when they release the patch, with everyone trying to DL your speeds would drop to double or single digit kb/s. It's unfortunate but it's not cost effective right now. The only other thing they could do would be to modify the patcher to operate as a discreet torrent manager. Such that only 1 seed is available and only those with the patcher would be able to draw from or contribute to the pool. Other games have used this method. I couldn't say what the pros and cons were. Security/safety is as always tantamount.

I assumed it was a server issue since my speed tests were still good, but I was hoping there was something I could finagle to to help it along. Oh well.
So glad I found something referencing this. I finally installed the patcher but it is just sitting on Syncing / fetching data. Should I just let it sit? It has been roughly 15minutes and nothing has started.
Additionally - is the color on the patcher hard for everyone else to read?
