Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.
It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.
To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.
What do you mean by 'chat client'? like an app? or something like Facebook messenger on the side of the screen on PC?
An official chat program/client whatever which is used to that we can use to talk/text/chat about TPP etc. I remember when another game I played was in Beta and we could spend hours in a chat room discussing everything about the game to be. I found it to be a wonderful experience and wanted to know if TPP had something similar or if one could be setup. I understand there are numerous chat clients out there, I just wanted to see what everyone was using or maybe put a bug in a Dev's ear for a TPP version. Does that help expand on my original question?

Another cool idea would be to set something up on Skype or Mumble.

As always: no promises, subject to change, your mileage may vary, this post contains forward-looking statements and may differ materially from final results, etc.
The general intent is to support a chat system that will allow players to use third-party clients to connect even when they're not in the game. Clients already exist that can be served off of a website, though I cannot say anything about whether we intend to provide that directly (not my sub-department). The "core" of the currently-planned system is already in use by the development team on a daily basis (also known as "dogfooding it" in some parts of the industry), though not using anything that would resemble an in-game window at the moment.
At what point this might be opened to players is an open question, but my personal guess (and it is *only* a guess) is that it will probably require that we have the infrastructure for dealing with accounts and authentication set up, since the intent is to only allow players and staff to use it, not the world at large. As to "why not now?" The current system for validating logins is fairly limited and probably would not scale well even to the number of folks on the forums, much less a "real" player population. That may well not be the only thing, but it is almost certainly *one* of the required things before we can open it up.

Thanks for the reply. Much appreciated. I figured if it was to be available it would be something down the road.
Just trying to get these ideas out of my head and into the forums before.... Oh look, SQUIRREL!!!

You know, if it's Skype, we can just make the group ourselves. It doesn't HAVE to come from a TPP dev.
TPP is not using Skype in any meaningful capacity, at least not that I'm aware of.

Doesn't mean we can't start now. How does one set it up?
I already have Mumble, so let me know if I need to download Skype! :)

Yo, why don't I just set up an IRC channel for us? It's easy to use, set up, maintain, and accessable from anywhere.
Either use an IRC plug-in on your browser, www.mibbit.com, or grab a free IRC app from the app/android store.
I'm on iPhone, and prefer Colloquy. On pc, mibbit.com...
It'd do for the meanwhile at least.
IRC.SynIRC.net is a stable server too. How about it? Should I set it up, or does someone official want to do it?
I know that most "community" IRC channels are set up by fans themselves, normally because the developers have better things to do with their lives.
((Going from #Wildstar over on GlobalGamers, and #Wildstar on quakenet. The wildstar channel has people from Carbine Studios in it occasionally...))
Alright, then! I've got some free time tonight. I'll get one going.
Done.
Use "irc.synirc.net" to access #cityoftitans
Log on mibbit or any IRC application. Select server, pick a user name, and join '#cityoftitans'
It's very simple. If you end up in the server screen without our channel open, simply type '/join #cityoftitans'
Any DevTeam that wants mod control, let me know via PM here. I'll hook you up.
Edit: I'll set up a topic for this with detailed instructions. At work currently.
