How does this work

How does this work logistically? I'm the 'Dynamic' part of the 'duo' but how would my 'duo' download this? I'm assuming they'd need to register on the store site. After that, how is my Kickstarter email validation work for my second? Also, is anyone else running into a download time that is crazy. I started downloading this at 6:30 AM this morning and it's still not even half done...

I think there are several

I think there are several thousand people running into download time, basically everyone who wasn't lucky enough to have had it mostly downloaded earlier. Hopefully, some of the Second Chance money can go to rectifying the bottleneck.

As for the Duo, I am given to understand that they need to make a bit more infrastructure software (a code generation system, to be exact) before any of our duos can download their copies.

Dax, download times are going to be long right now as everyone is trying to download at the same time from scratch. I started last night and am still only at 80%.

As for the duo this is from Warcabbit:

I'm at 63% now. I started about 6:30 AM EDT. I'm thinking I'll have to keep my computer running overnight and hopefully by the time I wake up, it should be done. I'm figuring about 5:45 A.M. tomorrow - lol. I hope that it's downloaded for you soon!

The 2020 Recap and a Look

The 2020 Recap and a Look Ahead to 2021 does not mention anything about the other half of a Dynamic Duo backer getting access to the Avatar Creator. A year ago warlocc there was progress made on this. Has implementing this been abandoned?
