Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

So Impatient for CoT to Release (In a Good Way)

Just want to throw out there that, particularly with the recent tech update, I am so, so READY for CoT to come out! I have a character concept that is ready to come to life (the gunner AT I have in my signature), intended to be like a “walking star,” and I’m so eager to see him live.

I’ve been ready since the KS all those years ago, but today more than ever I feel the itch.

So, yeah, want to take a moment to thank the devs for all the hard work, tell them I’m rooting for them and eagerly await the next bit of news on the development! We’re cheering you on.

An infinite number of tries doesn't mean that any one of those tries will succeed. I could flip an infinite number of pennies an infinite number of times and, barring genuine randomness, they will never come up "Waffles".

I’ve attempted creating some rough approximation of what I want to play in CoH, and while I still love the game I find myself often wishing it had many of the features being worked on for CoT (aesthetic decoupling and expanded archetypes). Awesome! What classification and specification are you going with for Smog? Sounds like something ranged, maybe?

By necessity, one of them can't be made first - Commanders won't be in the game at launch, so my necromancer plan just isn't going to pan out until such a time as they've been released to the game.

Oh, he's in the link "my non-canon toons", martial arts, super reflexes, but also has bioelectric bolts and poison absorption, and an arm blade :p

I'd love to do Galrithius first, but he's also a Commander so he'll have to spend more time in Necrobia first ;)

The situation with my main is similar to your commander issue. Gunner won’t be available at launch. I will likely create Safehouse with the ranged archetype available at launch and respec or reroll to gunner whenever that’s live.

Too bad we won’t meet Scaleback at launch, but Stalwart Steel sounds like a really awesome concept!

I agree, but if all the other AT don't have too much support powers. Otherwise support ATs could become useless. I hope it's still true that there will be a holly trinity (Tank, DPS, Heal).

I tended to lean more towards

I tended to lean more towards damage, playing mostly blasters and scrappers. I rolled a controller near then end and it was fun, but very challenging for me.

With Safehouse, I’d like to give him that energy blast, but with defensive secondaries instead of support or manip. Thinking I’ll give him Lethality but stylized as very narrow beams of energy, think like lasers or some such, set to such high intensity that they could pierce armor. His secondary will be energy aura (atrophic aura), and is like to give him Kinetic melee as a tertiary to give him some close range options. Safehouse is a failed superhero from another city, his most recent disaster having set him on a soul searching journey that led him to Titan City.

Loving all of the really cool character concepts that everybody is coming up with. Might even have to try to step out of my comfort zone and concoct a support character at some point.

I know Commanders will not be there at launch, but a Multiple Man style hero could be possible, depending on how robust the Pet Avatar Builder is, a complete clone or slightly different style with the same face (Multi Verse?) either way. So saving face, or loading an entire character and just keeping the face then modding other features could work for that.

I just saw that tweet and it made me equal parts intrigued and giddy! There’s definitely an energy behind the development that I hadn’t really seen before (not that you guys have ever stopped being enthusiastic about CoT of course).

I don't know what my main character's build will be apart from using the Stalwart AT and using Super Strength, Invulnerability, and Flight. But I can't wait to get my hands on the character creator to see what he might look like. I'm just glad that while we know very little about character building at the moment, I can already expect from the description pages that Super Strength will play like a perfect blend of Super Strength from CoH and Might from CO. The gap-closer is there and I can presumably build around knockdown instead of knockback.

I hope to take advantage of this with the kinetic melee tertiary. I’d like to make it LOOK more akin to street justice :)
