The one I see still has the little blurb about how the planned update is being delayed so here are some auras to look at. (Which are super cool by the way.)

The banner at the top that says "Announcements". You may not be able to see it right now. We are messing with it some. Testing ideas and all that. Really it's the PR team doing it. I'm just the tech guy. For the record the existence of the banner was my idea but our web guy made it so. After that I'm just a coding grunt. Ook!

It's not "weird" but the trademark symbol (™) makes it funny. :)
The classic joke is that game Devs always answer every player question about when things are going to happen with some version of "soon" which is a simple but vague answer that let's them effectively dodge the question without having to commit to any specific date or time.
The basic definition of the English word soon is "in or after a short time" but when you say Soon™ in the context of games it becomes a "Devspeak" word that means "sometime between next Tuesday and the Heat Death of the Universe". ;)

Oh you meant your use of the phase "turns me on". Yeah well that phrase in English is usually used for "sexual" situations but since this is not a "sexual" situation your use could be seen as being "ironic" and thus makes your response seem like you're intentionally trying to be extra funny or silly. :)

If you just wanted to say it plainly (unironically) you might have said something like:
"I don't know why but this Soon™ makes me happy :D"
or
"I don't know why but this Soon™ sounds good to me :D"
But since you were worried about a version of this that sounds "weird" it turns out saying:
"I don't know why but this Soon™ excites me :D"
Would have possibly been a more "weird" way to say it because taken out of context that could have more strongly implied you might be sexually attracted specifically to the word (or maybe the concept behind the word) Soon™ which is basically weird. The "turns me on" phrase was clearly used ironically whereas the "excites me" could be taken more literally.

Not asking for info...just a timeline. I wouldn't think that would be a secret since it was supposed to be last week. You'd think if it wasn't ready that something else, worthy of a 'major' update as opposed to a small update like the aura teaser, could be shared instead. I do not understand why you persist in voluntarily posting your delays when nobody, except some Net surfers, knows which are the precise dates of publication of the next News.
It just has the merit to sadden the visitors and, unfortunately, to add (once more, in people mind, due to the previous delays) the idea that the game is falling behind (even if it has nothing to do with it, that's what i ear from people to whom i speak about CoT).
That's just my opinion and I don't blame anyone! I don't forget that it was fans who allowed and set up this project. But I'm sure you could do a lot better in City of Titans' overall communication (which unfortunately suffers from a misconception of a game that won't be released for a long time)

I for one appreciate the information about the update delay. Given that they said last week's main update would occur this week, I think it would look worse if they let this week go by and said nothing.
Delaying an update does not equal development delays. In fact, it's almost the opposite. Every time we demand a shiny update, we're actually asking some of the devs to take time away from developing the game.
EDIT: P.S. Sounds like a pretty good reason for the delay.
