Obviously it doesn't have to be for launch. but streets like these have so much flavor and character. Supers live in generic comic cityscapes...it would be really nice to have just a slice of anime culture come to life. The first pic has a real blade runner feel for it.

I've been lucky enough to see places like this IRL. There are still a few older alleyways in Singapore that look a bit like the first pic. The second pic especially reminds me of streets in Japan and Korea I've walked through in the last few years.
I'd totally be in favor of seeing places like this in CoT. There could always be "Little China" or "Little Korea" type neighborhoods hidden away in various sections of the city. It might be a bit harder to work in a "Little Blade Runner" type area but that'd be cool as well.
